00:00We came to see a few locations where there is a project that is underway, which is the
00:18project to build the FT3210 crosswalk and build a bridge crossing the Batu Sembilan crosswalk.
00:27Other than that, there are also other locations, and now I am going to Batu 14, where it is said that there is a need to build a bridge crossing the Batu Sembilan crosswalk.
00:43All of this is to ensure that the crosswalk is less difficult and also help in the comfort and safety of users using the crosswalk.
00:56I understand that this area is under construction, and because of that, there is a lot of economic activity on the road, so the road can no longer meet the needs as usual.
01:09I understand that there is an LOS at level F, so when this project is finished, at Batu Sembilan crosswalk, we will lower the improvement to LOS B.
01:25But I also understand that it may only be a few years if we don't do it in places beyond that area.
01:36Because of that, we are investigating today, and the honourable parliamentarians brought us to places where it is said that there is a need for it.
01:51So, we at the ministry are not just collecting information, I have instructed the officials together with the Ministry of State to see how we can raise the request for the completion of DRP 5 which will come.
02:08Because this is a big project and needs to be completed by the Ministry of Economy and so on.
02:14So, because I came here, I saw it with my own eyes that there is a need for it.
02:21The project cost at Batu Sembilan crosswalk, as far as I understand, is RM123.66 million.
02:29Even though there is an EOT, extension of time, but that is not a contractor's problem.
02:35Contractors have no problem. The EOT is due to the issue of taking back the land and also the exchange of utilities.
02:44So, that is not a contractor's weakness. So, contractors, as far as I understand, are doing their duties with the best.
02:53So, Gatot Sri, the climate is only compared to Datuk Ilyas' land, how long is it?
03:01What is presented at Batu Sembilan is 1.6, one line, plus another 400 metres.
03:10So, in total, in this project of RM123.66 million, it is 2 kilometres, including flyover.
03:20It is expected to be ready by 2026. It should be ready by 2025, but we need a year.
03:27Because of the issue of taking back the land and also the exchange of utilities.
03:33Gatot Sri, what are the other issues that have arisen in the community?
03:37Because we know that the community is often flooded.
03:40And a few years ago, there was a big flood in this area.
03:43Maybe there is research being done by the Ministry of Environment to solve the problem in the future.
03:48Yes, it is related to the flood.
03:50While just now, at Bukit Raya, the village head was also there.
03:55We saw a problem where the small river, but the culvert is not ready yet.
04:03But when we look at it, it's not just the culvert.
04:07The culvert can still be used, but for the hill, that is the responsibility of another agency.
04:13So, the JPS has to look at it.
04:16For that reason, I instructed the JPR to meet with the JPA as soon as possible
04:21to discuss how we can work in a synergy with them.
04:27We cannot work in a silo.
04:29But later, the MPs and MPs will be able to help
04:34to bring all those who have a role in it,
04:40who have responsibilities there,
04:43to meet and discuss.
04:46Because we, at JPR, cannot solve the problem.
04:49Because the culvert, if we do it, we can do it.
04:51But the water may not flow.
04:53Because at the edge of the river or the ridge,
04:57the ridge is not made bigger or deeper.
05:02And maybe it will not solve the problem.
05:05So, there must be a collaboration with JPS?
05:07There must be.
05:08So, our level at JPR, I can assure you that we will do it for our part at JPR and KKR.
05:18If the culvert is needed, I will pass the culvert.
