The High Court in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (Dec 31) directed controversial blogger Papagomo to remove defamatory statements made against Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.

00:00The Kuala Lumpur High Court on Tuesday granted an application by Inspector General of Police
00:07Tan Sri Razaruddin Hussain for an ex-party injunction to prevent blogger Papagomo from
00:13issuing defamatory remarks against him.
00:16The court directed the blogger, whose real name is Wan Mohamed Azri Wan Deris, to remove
00:21such content on any social media platform or messaging application.
00:26Razaruddin's application was part of his defamation lawsuit against Papagomo regarding
00:31statements labeling him as a prostitute prisoner of the Prime Minister.
00:36The court said Razaruddin had presented a strong case and the words used by the defendant
00:41clearly referred to the plaintiff and were defamatory in nature.
00:46The court said the injunction will be effective until further orders from the court.
00:50The court then set January 10th for the inter-party hearing.
