00:00 Hey, how's it going, kid?
00:02 You up for number one?
00:03 You're close.
00:04 You're close.
00:05 Whoa!
00:06 Yes!
00:07 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:10 I'm furious!
00:21 Good for you.
00:23 I'll remember it for the rest of my days.
00:25 A lot of stuff.

00:44 Chris.
00:45 Oh!
00:46 Yes!
00:47 So now I finally know how Furiosa actually
00:49 lost one of her arms.
00:50 Like, did you actually have to use only one arm to ride
00:54 your bikes and also do your stunts?
00:56 Yes.
00:57 I mean, we attempted to do it.
00:58 There are some where, like, it's-- listen,
01:00 it's really, really hard to do that.
01:02 So we definitely had some help.
01:03 But yes, it was so important to George
01:06 that she ride one armed up that cliff.
01:09 Like, he just-- he would die on that hill.
01:11 He was like, yes, this has to happen.
01:13 So we made it happen.

01:16 I am the great Dementus.
01:19 I'm going to rule the wasteland!
01:22 [INAUDIBLE]
01:25 Woo!
01:26 Remember me.
01:27 Chris, I noticed the extra effort
01:29 you sprinkled into your Australian accent.
01:32 To have a sort of abrasive quality to it
01:34 and something obnoxious.
01:36 And there's a few different influences.
01:38 My grandfather, who I love, wasn't an obnoxious person.
01:41 But he had a very kind of nasal, nasally sort of spoken voice
01:47 and often would sort of, you know, come up to us and, hey,
01:50 how's it going, kids?
01:51 You know?
01:52 It was quite sort of, like, shocking.
01:53 And he'd immediately kind of be aware that he was around.
01:56 And we have here.
01:57 And I wanted to do it, obviously, to be Australian,
02:00 but not contemporary Australian.
02:02 And so I listened to a lot of films and interviews
02:05 and so on from the kind of '70s, that era.
02:09 It felt familiar, but also nostalgic.
02:13 [EXPLOSIONS]
02:16 Now?
02:18 Now!
02:19 [ENGINE REVVING]
02:21 I found out that at the end of the shoot,
02:23 you actually learned how to do wheelies on motorbikes
02:26 in a 180-degree turn.
02:28 That's crazy, though.
02:29 Yeah, it's called a Juicy Lift 180.
02:31 It's the first thing I learned how to do in a car.
02:34 I still don't have my driver's license,
02:36 so I'm wasting on that.
02:37 But, yeah, it's so much fun.
02:39 And I think, like, if you have any kind of fear of it,
02:42 if you do that immediately,
02:43 then everything else just becomes easy.
02:45 You, like, throw yourself into all of it.
02:47 But the script, you know, every scene felt like that.
02:49 There was such an artistry to the language and the structure
02:52 within how these characters interacted that, you know,
02:54 I just felt like I was able to play so much within that space.
02:58 I just noticed that.
03:00 Oh, yeah.
03:01 Look at that.
03:02 I want to teach you this one word
03:04 to your already extensive Malay language
03:07 so you can use it when you're tired.
03:09 Can you try saying "takuasi ma"?
03:11 Takuasi ma?
03:12 You've got to say it with full expression, like more slay.
03:15 Takuasi ma.
03:16 Takuasi ma.
03:17 It's the hounds.
03:18 It's the hounds for me.
