Senator Linda Reynolds says she's been vilified and trolled over accusations she was involved in a cover-up surrounding Brittany Higgins' rape at Parliament House. She says it's time for all to accept the Federal Court's finding that there was no political cover up.

00:10 Senator Reynolds is suing Ms Higgins and her partner David Shiraz over a series of social media posts she alleges damaged her reputation.
00:17 She's buoyed by the judge's findings and a separate defamation action brought by Bruce Lerman against Channel 10.
00:23 In that case Justice Michael Lee found no evidence of a political cover-up by the then Liberal government of Brittany Higgins' allegation she was raped by Mr Lerman, something he's always denied.
00:34 Outside court the Senator called for all parties to accept those findings, which she says call into question the Federal Government's decision to pay Ms Higgins a $2.4 million settlement.
00:45 And I think it is time that all parties in this accept all of his judgments and that includes the Finance Minister, the Attorney General and the Attorney General's Department.

00:59 There's a separate action due to be heard on Thursday about a trust reportedly set up by Ms Higgins.
