00:00Uh, you know, it was kind of different than I expected in a way.

00:04I mean, when he first asked me to do it, we had a kind of playful relationship,

00:08albeit competitive, because we had, you know, restaurants

00:11opposite each other, restaurants next to each other.

00:13In fact, we're opening a restaurant each in the Flamingo now.

00:18So, you know, off we go again.

00:20But I just also thought it was very interesting on many different levels,

00:24you know, because it was going to be about the emotional component,

00:28be about the between the contestants, the business strategy,

00:32the challenges, survival of the fittest,

00:35the iconic places that we were going to go.

00:38And ultimately, how Gordon and I would handle each other,

00:44you know, in terms of, you know, because he's very strong.

00:48Yeah. And he's, you know, and he's used to kind of being autonomous

00:52and being the boss of everything he does.

00:54And suddenly there are two bosses in the picture.

00:57So is he going to move over enough and give me my space?

01:00So I had to make sure I made my space.

01:03And it is there was a little bit of butting heads, but it was all.

01:08Based with respect, I think I can't minimize

01:13what he's accomplished in his life is extraordinary.

01:17But it's also handling him as well and getting him to settle down

01:21and shut the **** up sometimes.
