00:00 All right. Thank you, everyone.
00:03 All right. Thank you all. Good morning. So great to be with you.
00:06 Maggie, thank you for the lovely introduction.
00:08 Maggie works her socks off for you in Westminster.
00:11 You're very lucky with her as your MP.
00:13 And it is great to be with you all this morning.
00:15 And the first thing I'm going to say is it's been tough the last few years.
00:18 You know that. I know that.
00:20 We were dealing with a pandemic and all the drama that that caused to everyone's lives.
00:24 Just as we were getting recovered from that,
00:26 we got hit by a war in Ukraine and the impact on all your energy bills.
00:30 But I hope you know that during those times, I was there to do what I could to help you.
00:35 That's why we need Rwanda. I've got to make it crystal clear to everybody.
00:38 If you come to our country illegally, you won't get to stay.
00:41 We will be able to remove you to a safe alternative because that's how you break the cycle.
00:46 And you know what? I just got back from Austria.
00:48 Fifteen other European countries have all now signed a statement saying that they agree with that approach.
00:53 They think it's necessary.
00:55 The only person who doesn't believe in that approach is Keir Starmer.
00:58 He said he would scrap that. He doesn't believe in it.
01:01 He wants to offer an amnesty to illegal migrants that are here.
01:04 That would just make us the soft touch of Europe and attract even more people to come to our country.
01:09 So on that and on so many issues, you just can't trust them to deliver the security that our country needs.
01:16 And look, he wants to tell you that this election is over before it's even begun.
01:22 But I'm going to fight very hard every single day.
01:25 And with your support, I think the British people can say that they don't like being taken for granted, actually.
01:31 And what we do know about him is that he will say anything, take the easy way out to get into power.
01:38 And if he has abandoned all the promises that he made when he ran to be Labour leader,
01:43 how do you know that he won't do exactly the same thing if he becomes Prime Minister?
01:48 Minister.
