00:00 Tell us your thoughts on the impending general election.
00:04 I just think it's about time for a change. We've had them, we've had their service for 14 years.
00:11 They haven't managed to get their act together very well, so let's give the other side a try.
00:17 Unless they're going to put out what they're going to be offering, I don't know,
00:22 I would have a tendency not to vote for one particular party, it would be to keep the other party out.
00:28 Do you understand that? I do, I do. I think that's absolutely fair.
00:31 Well I think at the moment, there's not a lot to choose from to be honest with you.
00:35 I think they're all very much all for themselves and they tend to be like a load of kids in the playground,
00:40 falling out and I don't think there's any definite structure there.
00:44 So to be honest with you I'm a little bit 'do I vote or don't I vote'.
00:48 I would like to vote because I think it's my right to vote, but I'm still not sure what's going on
00:54 because there's too much awfulness going on at the moment with it.
00:58 They don't seem to have got their heads around it.
01:00 Yeah, no that's absolutely fair.
01:02 As a young person looking outwards, inwards to vote, I would say,
01:07 'don't they not understand about house people?'
01:10 You know, they sort of say 'well we can't afford this and we can't afford that'
01:14 but maybe if they've got less people coming into the country, there might be a bit more for everybody else.
01:21 Also I think a lot of them don't live in real world.
01:24 They've all got money, that's why they are where they are.
01:27 If they lived where they had to look for the money then they would probably do different things
01:32 and have different opinions to how people can live and how this world is having a different sort of status.
01:39 Categorise it a bit better I would say.
01:42 Admittedly I feel quite disillusioned in general, like a lot of my friends.
01:49 For me I kind of feel like this system doesn't really work
01:54 and admittedly I don't really want to participate in it.
01:58 Sometimes it feels like it's just red or blue
02:02 and right now neither of them kind of appeal to me.
02:07 I think I will register to vote but probably to deface the ballot or something
02:13 rather than actually vote, which I know some people might take issue with.
02:17 I know that it's an important right that we have but I just don't feel that it really works.
02:23 So that's how I feel.
02:25 Could you tell me what you think about the government calling a general election please?
02:28 It's not before time. It should have been done sooner.
02:33 Everybody's ready now for a general election.
02:37 Could you tell me please what you think about them calling a general election?
02:42 Well obviously general elections are fairly frequent aren't they?
02:48 I think maybe it is time to call for one and see where we go from there.
02:55 Do you think you'll vote?
02:56 I will vote yes.
02:58 Could you tell me please what you think about them calling a general election for July 4th?
03:03 Good idea.
03:05 Why do you think it's a good idea?
03:08 Maybe we need someone new in parliament.
03:12 And her and her.
03:13 Yeah.
03:15 Do you think you'll vote?
03:17 Erm...
03:20 Yeah, probably yeah.
03:22 I'd say yes.
03:25 Could you tell me what you think about the government calling a general election please?
03:29 I think that it's good that he's getting it over and done with.
03:32 He has to face the inevitable I guess.
03:34 It's looking like the way the polls are looking.
03:37 And will you be voting?
03:38 Of course.
