00:00 Well, it's been incredibly difficult. I lost a brother in January. He was killed in an
00:05 Israeli airstrike and he was left bleeding on the street for three days and there was
00:09 no ambulance to come and help him. My sister currently is surrounded by tanks in Jabalia
00:16 in the north and there's no one to help her either. I've lost cousins, I've lost friends,
00:22 I've lost the city that I loved so much, cafes, buildings, the universities that I went to.
00:27 Everything has been destroyed. It's total destruction and annihilation that is happening
00:32 right now in Gaza. But it's not just only the last six months, it's even more than that.
00:39 I lived in the Gaza Strip and for the last 20 years of my life Gaza has been an open
00:43 air prison and we all know that. The news knows that, people know that as well.
00:51 I think this has all been part of a big plan to destroy Gaza completely. The aim of this
00:56 Israeli onslaught and genocide in Gaza is to destroy the city completely. They're doing
01:01 it now. Rafah is the only standing town. It's a small town actually. It's one street. I
01:06 know it very well. I've been there many times. I have friends there and relatives as well.
01:12 So the aim really is to destroy everything and I don't know what for. I don't know what
01:16 the reason they're doing that for, to be honest with you. There is a ceasefire deal on the
01:21 table. They just need to accept it. So what are we waiting for and why are we putting
01:25 so many innocent lives at risk? What is the aim of this war? I don't understand. It's
01:29 so baffling to me. And what is worse is that nobody seems to be able to stop it. That's
01:35 the problem. It's a shame really. It's a big shame that the world is just watching. And
01:40 later on in history books they will say, I don't know, we didn't know about it. No, you
01:45 know about it. You can see it. It's there everywhere. People are reporting about it,
01:49 talking about it on social media. People on the ground are talking about what's happening
01:53 and we're all turning a bland eye, unfortunately.
