00:50recovered in a military operation.
00:53The bodies of Henan Yvblanka, Michel Nissenbaum and Orian Hernandez were found and their families

01:20our border in Gaza.
01:24We will not stop fighting for their freedom.
01:30Every decent country in the world would do the same.
01:34On Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the country had a duty to do
01:40everything to return those abducted, both those killed and those alive.
01:48Around half of the hostages taken in the October 7 attack have since been freed, mostly in
01:55exchange for Palestinian prisoners, in a week-long ceasefire in November.
02:07Ukraine struck two Crimean targets late on Thursday, the Russian head of the annexed
02:11peninsula said.
02:13Two people were killed in a missile attack near Simferopol, Crimea's main administrative
02:19centre.
02:20They also hit a building near Alushta on Crimea's Black Sea coast.
02:24Russia says the facility was empty, while Ukraine's partisan group in Crimea, ATESH,
02:31has reported multiple casualties.
02:34The attack comes as Russia begins drills in its southern military district, which also
02:39includes the occupied peninsula of Crimea.
02:42The exercise involves tactical nuclear weapons, such as air bombs, warheads for short-range
02:49missiles and artillery munitions.
02:52Tactical nuclear weapons are less powerful than conventional strategic nuclear weapons,
02:57but they can be employed in the battlefield, even with friendly forces in proximity.
03:04Russia regularly holds exercises involving tactical nuclear weapons.
03:09However, this is reportedly the first time that the Kremlin announces it publicly.
03:18Despite mass opposition from pro-Serb protesters, the UN approved its divisive Srebrenica resolution
03:25on Thursday.
03:26Here, protesters shout betrayal.
03:29They think the resolution, which will mark the 11th of July as an annual commemoration
03:33day of the 1995 genocide of Srebrenica, will portray them as genocidal.
03:49Meanwhile, France has called for reconciliation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western
03:54Balkans.
03:56The UN Resolution dubs the 11th of July the International Day of Reflection on the Genocide
04:03of Srebrenica.
04:04The resolution, which will mark the 11th of July as an annual commemoration day of the
04:10Genocide of Srebrenica, will portray them as genocidal.
04:14France has called for reconciliation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans.
04:21The UN Resolution dubs the 11th of July the International Day of Reflection and Commemoration
04:27of the 1995 Genocide of Srebrenica.
04:30The resolution was presented by Germany and Rwanda.
04:33The 1995 killings were a bloody climax of Bosnia's 1992-95 war, which came after the
04:40breakup of Yugoslavia.
04:42French President Emmanuel Macron will make a state visit to Germany this Sunday, the
04:52first trip of its kind for a French president in 24 years.
04:57And although Macron visits Berlin regularly to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz,
05:03a state visit can only be extended by Germany's head of state, who is the president, Frank
05:08Walter Steinmeier.
05:10The goal of this visit is to strengthen the bond of the Franco-German relations.
05:41The two presidents are going to celebrate the 75 years of the German constitution.
05:46The state visit will be followed by a Franco-German council of ministers alongside Chancellor
05:51Scholz, and it's a state visit that's seen in quite a positive light by some of the Berliners
05:55that we talked to.
06:10Emmanuel Macron originally planned to visit Germany in July last year, but then had to
06:30cancel last minute due to riots in France.
06:34The visit comes as a tense time for both European countries, with polls suggesting that Eurosceptic
06:40parties could make significant gains in the upcoming EU elections.
06:44Both countries will be focused at presenting a united European front during the visit.
06:50Liv Stroud, in Berlin, for Euronews.
06:58There were some special audience members for the Spitzenkandidat debate in Brussels.
07:03Several first-time voters were invited to the European Parliament, with some of them
07:07allowed to pose questions to the candidates.
07:10While the alliances with far-right parties was a huge point of discussion among candidates,
07:14younger voters focused on other topics.
07:17Good afternoon, I have a question for you.
07:20How can the European think that security was the most important and the most emotional
07:25one for every candidate?
07:27I will choose two topics.
07:29The first one is the one related to climate change, and I appreciated the answers of Godzie
07:39of Renew Europe, because he said something that I didn't expect.
07:43I really appreciated his answers and his open mind.
07:48And the second team is the one of migration, and I really appreciated the answers of Schmidt,
08:00because it was fair.
08:04Some of them have clear ideas about their favourite candidates.
08:10I particularly like Ursula von der Leyen.
08:12I think she's done a good job the last five years, so I also hope to see her be
08:17Commission President for the next five years.
08:20I like the most about the candidate of the Greeks, who took into consideration that,
08:26yes, we have important problems to face, but we need to win fear with solutions
08:37and not extremist talk.
08:40I'm really excited to see what the future holds and if they're really going to change
08:46stuff or if they're just talking and just saying it now and not doing anything to prevent
08:55people, young people being on TikTok and TikTok being a place where people, where it's just
09:03not good for your mental health.
09:06These young voters are casting their ballot at the EU elections for the first time and
09:11hope to also convince their peers to vote.
09:19Ivan, Javier, Carlos and Sarah attend the launch of the PSOE campaign for the European
09:25elections in Valencia.
09:27They are an example of young people who have found inspiration in Pedro Sanchez's party.
09:35Equality, feminism, the rights of trans people, LGTB and a way to make a broad front against
09:43the far right and the far right.
09:47The Spanish Socialist Workers' Party, which Sanchez has led since 2018, is turning to
09:54TikTok as a campaign tool following the success of a viral meme.
09:59A song by Rafael Acarra that went viral and coincided with Pedro's five days of reflection
10:07and people were encouraged to sing it and stay.
10:12The party is hoping to repeat the success of their previous general elections.
10:19The PSOE is agglutinating a lot of young people because in the end the message is diverse
10:23and it is the image of the Europe we want, a diverse Europe, a tolerant Europe.
10:35Sanchez's Socialist Party has embraced all flags, the rainbow flag, the Spanish flag
10:41and more recently the Palestinian flag.
10:45They broadly define themselves as left-leaning.
10:54It is a model of success that refutes all the lies and misinformation of the far right.
11:04The Socialist Party could not start the election campaign with more energy.
11:08The controversy between Millet and Pedro Sánchez has managed to mobilize his electorate again
11:13and to place the PSOE as the wall of contention against the far right in Europe.
11:18In addition, the polls give the PSOE a sweet news right now.
11:23After several weeks and days in which the Popular Party of Ola Bascaños and the PSOE
11:29were second in the elections, the latest polls even point to the fact that the Socialist Party
11:35could win the European elections again.
11:38In Valencia, Jaime Velázquez, Euronews.
