I clean strangers' filthy homes for free - and I love it!

An extreme cleaner spends up to five days transforming strangers' homes - for free. Diana Jones, 23, started cleaning peoples homes after giving her mum's, house a "deep clean".

Since she started, Diana has cleaned 10 houses in total and said it can take up to five days to finish - but she finds it 'rewarding' when she sees the final result.

00:53 - Free clean this house with me.
01:01 The family that lives here are still living here today.
01:03 They have running water and heating
01:05 and absolutely nothing else.
01:06 But that's why I'm here.
01:07 So as they say, save the day.
01:09 Usually people would have a plan for a clean like this.
01:11 Maybe where they'd start or how they would do it,
01:13 but not me because I'm an idiot.
01:15 So I walked into the house with the mindset
01:16 that I would just figure it out as I go.
01:18 And I can confirm that it's not a practical idea.
01:20 People that live in this house needed somewhere to eat
01:22 and somewhere to bathe.
01:23 This house has four bedrooms, I think,
01:25 and three bathrooms.
01:26 So you know, it's fairly big
01:28 and every single room needs a good fix.
01:30 But I'm willing to help
01:31 because if I'm making a difference to somebody's life,
01:33 then I'm all there.
01:34 As you can imagine, the kitchen was a pretty big job
01:36 and a backbreaker,
01:37 but I managed to change the color of the floor.
01:39 So it was worth it.
01:40 Realistically, this fly spray was gonna do
01:42 absolutely jack all.
01:43 There are thousands of flies in this house
01:45 that I have not even touched yet,
01:46 but I got the ones in the bathtub.
01:47 Never in my whole life have I ever seen so many flies.
01:50 But further, I think this would be a job for pest control.
01:52 Like guys, I am just a cleaner.
01:53 Everything that I saw today literally went in the bin.
01:55 There was just nothing remotely even salvageable.
01:58 But it definitely smelled nicer.
01:59 I still don't really know what I found under here,
02:01 but I could definitely go for the rest of my life
02:03 without knowing.
02:03 But hey, it was satisfying to clean.
02:05 Such a big job for such a small girl.
02:07 I'm back at the same property tomorrow.
02:08 So let me know if you want part two.
02:10 Five hours.
02:11 In five hours, I got most of the kitchen done
02:13 and this bath and the floor.
02:15 And I don't know how I did it.
02:16 But for tonight, I'll be happy
02:17 that someone's got a sink and a bath.
02:18 And we'll go again tomorrow with a clear mind.
02:20 Here are some after shots.
02:21 I appreciate you watching.
02:23 Thank you.
02:24 Order clean part two.
02:26 Today was nothing but a big backache job.
02:28 Like somehow my back carried this whole freaking process.
02:31 I completely forgot that I had this sink footage.
02:32 I don't know if you can see the flies,
02:34 but there are literally hundreds of those little things.
02:36 Today was the big job.
02:37 The removal of the rubbish in the living room.
02:38 I don't think anything really prepares you
02:40 for something like that.
02:41 So you just get stuck in.
02:41 Like personally, I just loved doing this room.
02:43 Please don't ask me what I found in here.
02:45 Because I don't know the answer.
02:46 Guys, there was nothing that was salvageable.
02:47 And the tenants asked me to throw everything away.
02:49 Now guess how long it took me
02:50 to bag everything from this room.
02:51 It took me two and a half hours.
02:52 But which to be fair, I am impressed with myself.
02:54 Now I know that some people will not agree with this,
02:56 but the tenant told me they needed pots and pans
02:58 to cook with.
02:59 And guys, these are the only things that I saved.
03:00 Just because they could be saved.
03:01 There was no mice, rats, roaches, you name it.
03:04 Just a shite ton of flies.
03:05 The council are currently involved.
03:07 And we're trying to arrange a skip for all of this rubbish.
03:09 Honestly, as the process was moving,
03:10 the room started to look like a new room.
03:12 You could see the floor.
03:13 It was just amazing.
03:14 I didn't even think to use the dustpan as a shovel,
03:16 but it definitely sped the process up.
03:18 This room definitely needed the shovel.
03:20 Transformation time.
03:21 This was super satisfying, okay?
03:23 Three, two, one.
03:25 (gasps)
03:25 This whole freaking space looks so different.
03:28 And guys, I did not finish the job today,
03:29 but the family that lives here is super, super appreciative.
03:32 And again, I am just glad that I can help.
03:33 You can see the floor.
03:34 Like, you can see the whole floor.
03:36 And then I wiped down and disinfected anything in that room.
03:38 And as for the pans that I saved,
03:40 I gave them a really, really, really,
03:41 really good scrub too.
03:42 I am going back to this property after the weekend,
03:44 because guys, these are the rooms
03:45 that I have not even touched yet,
03:46 and I wanna be able to do them all.
03:48 So if you made it this far, then thank you, and I love you.
