Wounded journalist Nasrullah Gadani dies at Karachi hospital

KARACHI/SUKKUR**: Journalist Nasrullah Gadani, who was shot and wounded by armed assailants in Mirpur Mathelo a few days ago, passed away at a private hospital in Karachi on Friday. Gadani, 40, associated with the Sindhi language daily Awami Awaz, was initially treated at a hospital in Rahim Yar Khan before being airlifted to Karachi for further medical care.

His body was transported to his hometown in an ambulance, with numerous people, including students, stopping the vehicle along the route to pay their respects by showering it with rose petals. Upon arrival at the Civil Hospital Ghotki, doctors conducted a post-mortem examination. The body was then handed over to his family following the completion of medico-legal formalities.
