Don Juan, a Spanish explorer, embarks on a daring mission to Veracruz to apprehend Hernán Cortés, whom the Crown views as a traitor. While traversing the jungle, he is ambushed by a giant jaguar, launching the player into a boss fight!
After a grueling battle, Don Juan finds himself on the brink of death when Nacu, a young native, saves him from certain demise. Despite her heroic act, she swiftly disappears into the wilderness. Fueled by gratitude and a sense of obligation, Don Juan manages to track down this mysterious woman. This will make him understand the real implications of war, conquest and rebellion for a local culture.
Shortly after, a treacherous warlord orchestrates a sudden assault on Nacu's village. In the chaos, Nacu is abducted and enslaved. Determined to repay the debt of gratitude and rescue his savior, Don Juan embarks on a new odyssey through uncharted territories. Along the way, he will navigate a tapestry of historical events and encounter iconic figures, weaving his own legacy amidst the tumult of these times.
