00:06 The government accelerated the implementation of the Nirsentuh Non-Tunai Toll Transaction System or Multilane Free Flow (MLFF) in Indonesia.
00:16 The commitment is one of the efforts through the establishment of MLFF in the National Strategic Project or PSN Non-APBN
00:24 which is included in the 23rd PPO of 2024 on toll roads. In this regulation, MLFF is established as part of the toll road transactions in Indonesia.
00:35 The purpose of the implementation of the system is to increase services, transformation, innovation, and modernization in toll road services.
00:44 The benefits of MLFF are eliminating the queue at toll gates, reducing carbon emissions, saving time efficiency, and supporting payment digitalization.
00:55 The Minister of Public Works and Housing, PUPR Basuki Hadi Mulyono, when met with media in Jakarta Convention Center on May 28, said that MLFF will benefit toll road users.
01:08 This toll road, we operated with about 80 business entity toll roads. You can imagine how to synchronize that.
01:23 Before we applied the non-cash transaction, every piece of toll road that is owned by the business entity, they have their own gate.
01:37 PT. Rohtak Indonesia Toll System, RITS, as a business entity implementing MLFF in Indonesia, will build a system based on the technology of Global Navigation Satellite System, GNSS,
01:55 so that toll road users can enter and exit without having to stop to pay at the toll gate using a cash application.
02:03 PT. RITS Director-General, Attila Gewe, stated the readiness of the system to be applied in Indonesia's toll roads.
02:11 This is a very complex system. The system itself is ready. So we are ready to go today.
02:19 I think that the task ahead of us, as I was trying to describe, that we need to connect this system to the world around us.
02:29 So we need to enable that the toll road operators, BUJT, is involved. They are to become the partner.
02:37 They would like to be involved and be part of the solution. This is what we are working on.
02:44 The presence of MLFF in Indonesia is appreciated by the toll road users.
02:50 The system is quite good. If it is applied in all toll roads in Indonesia, I hope that it will be smooth, without obstacles.
03:01 Usually, the traffic jam is at the toll gates. So with the existence of MLFF, we hope that it will no longer exist.
03:09 And in the future, in Jakarta, it will be like that. Of course, it will be useful for all of us.
03:19 Not just me, but all Indonesian people, especially those who often use toll roads, will feel the benefits.
03:31 Previously, the MLFF system has been tested at the Bali Airport toll road by the BUJT toll road operators since December 12, 2023.
03:40 And will be applied gradually, starting from the Bali Airport toll road in October 2024.
03:46 During the transition period, the system used is the Single Lane Free Flow, which will then become MLFF in all toll roads in Indonesia.
