Love of My Life by South Border | Jay Durias  | The Story Behind the Song | OG  Here's one more trip down memory lane with South Border's Jay Durias. Jay continues to profess his love for music. And if we missed highlighting his amusement for Brix Ferraris' falsetto range last time, well, we don't this time. Who could ever forget that kind of falsetto vocals? Check out this second part of the interview with Jay for more about the inspiration or story behind their hit Love of My Life. You probably get it. It's about someone you want to grow old with. But you would want to know how the video game Super Mario has something to do with this song.   South Border gained popularity when they launched their first self-titled album in 1996. Kahit Kailan was one of the tracks in the album and quickly hit the radio airwaves. And it was epic that various radio stations named it Song Of The Year. But guess what another song from the same album was climbing the charts back in the day?  A lot of names have been part of the band. But you know what they say. People come and go.  But Jay has always been the band’s chief songwriter, arranger, producer, musical director and the lead creative force. He keeps the band together.
