Ukrainian strikes on Russian soil?

So far, most of Kyiv's western suppliers have said their arms cannot be used to hit targets on Russian soil. But France's president Emmanuel Macron said this should be allowed in some cases. Washington has ruled out such a possibility for US weapons. But the debate is intensifying with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz indicating he may follow Macron’s line here.
