00:00 I'm Grace Olsen and we're at Think Like a Pony Riding Centre in Horsforth.
00:05 The farm is all about my experience with Toffee. We got Toffee when she was one
00:12 and she was an absolute nightmare because me and my friend we didn't know
00:15 what on earth we were doing. Horses will only respect you if you respect yourself.
00:19 Me and my friend we had a lack of self-love. The pair of us were very
00:24 badly bullied at various points of our life and Toffee highlighted that fact.
00:29 So the book goes into my issues being bullied as a child at school and then
00:34 again as an adult at a livery yard and it also covers when I was younger when
00:40 I was about 14 I attempted to take my own life. It is also a comedy similar to my
00:47 first books full of eccentric characters and adventures so it's not just total
00:52 pure misery it's funny as well. At Think Like a Pony we're a holistic riding
00:57 school. We're really excited about our summer fair this weekend it's on Sunday
01:02 it's in the afternoon from 1 till 4. We've got Grace and Toffee doing the book
01:07 signing and the meet and greet and our other ponies, therapy ponies, you can meet
01:13 and greet as well. We're doing pony rides, we have a children's area, we will be
01:19 making hobby horses and we've got a dog agility course which you can use the
01:23 hobby horse to go on that as well so there's something for everybody. So it's
01:27 bringing everybody together and really celebrating all that success that we
01:31 share. It's been amazing to see Toffee go from being absolute naughty teenager to
01:37 wonderful healing animal. Just her presence has helped so many children
01:42 with various different needs to come out of their shells to become stronger
01:46 within themselves. What I really want from this book is to show people that
01:51 you are worth it, you have value and there is a way out of being bullied.
