03:15 He finishes him by removing his head with one foul swoop.

03:38 Any death involving an alien is going to inevitably be quite painful.
03:42 Aliens don't play by our silly human rules, and that is especially evident when Ben Carmine
03:47 is taken out by the Riftworm in Gears of War 2.
03:50 After being swallowed by a Riftworm, Carmine was pulled through the stomach's acidic spikes,
03:55 corroding flesh around his chest and condemning him to a slow death.
03:59 When his comrades finally discovered him, Ben bore the marks of a savage attack, his
04:03 injuries rendering speech agonisingly challenging as he struggled to deliver his final words.

05:46 After being kidnapped by the cannibalistic David, Ellie makes her escape but has to face
05:50 him one v one.
05:52 The interaction ends with the far stronger older man holding Ellie down and threatening
05:57 sexual and violent acts.
05:59 Ellie gets the upper hand though when she gives him one of the most painful and most
06:03 deserved deaths in the game, repeatedly striking his head with a machete.
06:07 If you thought a paper cut hurt, try having your face scaled like a fish.

06:27 God of War features a bunch of terribly disgusting deaths, almost always being dished out by
06:50 the God of War himself, Kratos.
06:53 After receiving the absolute beating of a lifetime, our boy Helios is right where Kratos
06:57 wants him, beneath his boot.
06:59 If the beating wasn't already painful enough, Kratos performs arguably one of the worst
07:04 kills he's ever performed by slowly and painfully ripping Helios' head from his body.
07:10 Tearing a head requires tearing muscle, skin and bone, and feeling most of that very very
07:15 slowly would absolutely not tickle.

07:38 There aren't many characters in gaming who've suffered quite as terribly as Paz, and although
07:42 the moment of her death was probably instant and painless, the suffering that led up to
07:46 her death was so substantial it's definitely worth mentioning.
07:50 After being kidnapped, Paz was tortured in some excessively brutal and painful ways,
07:55 in psychological and sexual ways as well.
07:57 Most of these are so horrendous I'm not even going to talk about them.
08:01 With her Achilles bolted and her brain destroyed, she was rescued by her very own protagonist,
08:05 Big Boss, only for the realisation that her stomach was the storage place of a small bomb.
08:11 With no anaesthetic, the bomb was cut and removed from her with her guts and organs
08:15 spilling out while the removal happened.
08:18 In the realisation that a second bomb was inside her womb/f***ing, it's never clarified,
08:23 she throws herself from the helicopter they are on and explodes in a fine mist, never
08:28 to be seen again.

08:50 Remember what we said earlier about any death delivered by an alien being painful?
08:53 Yep, in the original Dead Space game, Zack served as a courageous security officer.
08:59 Tragically he was trapped in a room with a creature blocking the only exit.
09:02 The creature beats him brutally, which includes ripping off his leg all while still alive.
09:07 The creature then obviously needs a way to break through the glass barrier to the player,
09:11 for which the creature grotesquely repurposes his body as a hammer and smashes straight
09:15 on through.
09:16 Hammond's demise stands out as one of the most poignant and brutal deaths in video game
09:21 history, leaving many Dead Space players deeply shocked.
09:33 Andrew Ryan's death in Bioshock is a pivotal moment in the game's narrative, and a pivotal
