Temporary dirt speedway set for parklands as Adelaide 500 organisers unveil plans for anniversary event

A dirt speedway will be built in Adelaide’s east parklands, with sprint cars coming to the city as part of this years Adelaide 500. But, while organisers are talking up the event, not everyone is happy about it. The Adelaide City Council says it was not consulted, and the greens are pushing for laws that would stop motor sports from getting control of parklands.
