00:00 Hi OG, I'm Joven Rivera. We're here at our glamping home here in Maglalanes, Cavite. Welcome to Brith Cabin. Let's go inside.
00:08 When we enter this area, you'll see our bonfire area.
00:25 So normally, every night, we have a bonfire here. My daughter also learns to smurf here.
00:31 The whole property is around 314 square meters.
00:39 And since we wanted a tiny home, the whole cabin is around 60 square meters more or less.
00:52 In this part, we have our farm. Even though our lot is small, we have a glamping area for fresh food.
01:04 That's what we call farm to table.
01:06 In this area, we have scooters and bikes. So every afternoon, we go around Nature's Farm.
01:20 We named it Brith Cabin because during the pandemic, camping and people wanted to be more on nature.
01:30 When we got this property, we did tent pitching here. So this is the way to relax our minds.
01:44 In this area, you'll see our above the ground pool. This is one of the highlights of our property.
01:52 My wife will explain this later.
01:55 Hi guys!
01:56 So you'll explain first. I have something to do.
01:59 Okay.
02:01 Guys, this pool is called Intex XTR Ultra above the ground pool.
02:09 Since we didn't have a pool here in our original plan, and upon our inquiry,
02:16 the construction of the regular pool took 1-2 months,
02:20 we thought that this is the alternative option since we can use the property during the summer.
02:27 The pool itself, including the filter, is around Php 80,000.
02:35 But it has a flooring underneath so that it won't leak.
02:39 Then the cleaning materials, chlorine, clarifiers, it reached around Php 110,000.
02:52 So let's go to our semi-outdoor dining area.
03:02 The main purpose of this is after the pool for the kids, we serve them snacks here.
03:09 Sometimes, I use this area for my work when I have something to finish.
03:15 So this area is very functional.
03:18 Originally, our idea is really an open concept.
03:25 But during the rainy season, we experienced different insects like mosquitos, cockroaches,
03:32 so we thought of closing the whole area.
03:35 Let's go inside.
03:39 We got the inspiration for this cabin from Youtube and Pinterest.
03:47 Because at that time, tiny houses and container look were popular.
03:53 We thought that we also want to bring it to the Philippines.
03:59 So this is our living area.
04:01 As you can see, it's still an open concept.
04:04 If you notice, the furniture we chose is steel and concrete.
04:09 Because we are in the mountains, so it's a bit rough.
04:14 We want the materials to be at least long-lasting.
04:18 This is our son, Leon.
04:21 Say hi!
04:22 Hi!
04:24 We have a magic TV, a speaker, and we can also watch Netflix.
04:32 If you want to relax after the pool, you can use the TV.
04:37 This is the perfect spot for that.
04:40 This is our dining area.
04:52 This is our small kitchen.
04:54 This wood is treated, so it won't be damaged or its lifespan will be long.
05:04 We really want to add a wood concept, so this is the best option to include the wood element in the cabin.
05:17 We thought of storing the materials inside, whether we will use it as a table or other good materials.
05:24 We thought of grabbing it so that it will be very outdoor.
05:28 At the same time, low maintenance.
05:30 Since we are on a farm, sometimes it will be white.
05:34 It comes from the pool, so the kids might slip.
05:38 That's why we decided to grab it.
05:42 The importance of walking barefoot on the rocks or grass is beneficial to our health according to Chinese medicine.
05:52 This is our refrigerator.
06:00 If you notice, it's black, so it fits our concept in the cabin.
06:05 We also have a water dispenser.
06:08 This is our humble kitchen.
06:11 Let's go to our shower area.
06:14 If you notice, we used a barn door.
06:18 Since we conceptualized this, the barn door is very popular.
06:24 We thought of using a sliding door to maximize the space.
06:30 Let's take a look.
06:32 We're here in our shower area.
06:37 As you can see, it's very spacious.
06:39 We have a shower and a toilet.
06:42 It's spacious because there are a lot of kids in the family.
06:46 So we can move around and attend to each other's shower needs.
06:51 As you can see, our basin is placed on a metal drum.
06:58 We also saw this metal drum on Pinterest.
07:01 It's very unique and coincidentally, it's a product of our company.
07:07 It's also a coincidence that our industrial team is more into metal and concrete.
07:12 We got this lot in July 2021.
07:22 We were allowed to move the lot in May 2022.
07:29 In May 2022, when we were given a go signal, we started moving it gradually.
07:36 We moved it to around 1.3 million.
07:39 The total construction cost was around 1.8 million.
07:45 Including the equipment, it's around 2.4 million.
07:49 Our bedroom is just one since we're a small family.
07:55 As you can see, we also used a barn door to maximize the space.
08:00 Let's go inside.
08:05 This is our very humble bedroom.
08:08 As you can see, our concept is also steel.
08:11 As you can see, we have a queen-size bed here.
08:16 We also have a double deck.
08:18 Since our family members sometimes come here, they visit us.
08:23 So we thought of having more beds.
08:26 Because we mostly stay outside.
08:28 You can also see the outside.
08:30 The greens outside.
08:32 It's still one in nature vibe.
08:35 Let's go to the highlight of our property, our roof deck.
08:39 If you can see, it's also metal.
08:42 Because it's an industrial vibe.
08:44 And this is our pole bamboo.
08:48 Because it has a good effect for privacy and to add more greens to the property.
08:53 This is our roof deck.
09:00 As you can see, we considered it to be open.
09:03 Because it's for sightseeing during sunset.
09:07 And another thing we do here is stargazing.
09:11 Because the light pollution here is very low.
09:15 And we have small outdoor chairs here.
09:20 So we can also talk here.
09:23 Relax.
09:25 And also, we can also sit here.
09:28 Relax.
09:30 For those who want to have a glamping home or farmhouse.
09:40 I can only give them proper planning.
09:44 So they can maximize the idea that they have.
09:48 And it's good to have a dream.
09:52 Because we can be motivated to make it come true.
09:56 With God's help and God's perfect time for us.
10:01 So let's continue our dream of having a farmhouse or glamping home.
10:06 Actually guys, we opened this glamping home for staycation.
10:16 You may reach us through Airbnb.
10:19 And also through our Facebook page, RIT Cabin.
10:22 So that ends our house tour.
10:24 I hope you learned a lot.
10:26 And maybe next time you'll be the ones to take pictures in OG.
