The National Sports Council (NSC) is studying a request by Persatuan Sepaktakraw Malaysia (PSM) regarding incentives for the sepak takraw squad’s victory at the recent 2024 Sepak Takraw World Cup in Kuala Lumpur.
Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh confirmed the matter on Friday (May 31), adding that it involved the gold medallists of the doubles and regu events.
Separately, Yeoh said an announcement regarding financial aid for national athletes not in the Podium and Road To Gold programmes would be made next week.
