00:31 Good afternoon everybody.

00:32 He's fluent in English and has a new heart-felt message.

00:35 My kindergarten and school year helped me grow braver, smarter, kind-hearted, and more grateful.

00:44 He is the 6th year graduate, Maverick Cyrus Pelayo.

00:47 Many people are amazed at him,

00:49 especially in front of the crowd, he is good at speaking even if no one is reading.

00:54 And on behalf of my friends and classmates, we welcome you all to this wonderful event.

01:02 Young at heart are also excited because not just one, but 10 senior citizens graduated from Elementary and High School in Cuyapu, Nueva Ecija.

01:10 They are very grateful for the opportunity to study under the Alternative Learning System.

01:15 Aside from the diploma, they received a medal as a Model of the Youth Award.

01:23 This is Teacher Wilfred Malinog's class.

01:26 His own mother, Nanay Dominga, is also here.

01:30 She is proud to have graduated from Junior High School under the Alternative Learning System.

01:34 She excelled in her favorite subject, Math.

01:37 That's why the youngest child is also proud of her mother.
