00:00 Coming off a win last week at Charlotte,
00:01 Christopher Bell brings it home seventh here today
00:03 at Worldwide Technology Raceway.
00:05 Christopher, fighting for second there in those closing laps.
00:08 Something going on with the race car.
00:10 What happened there?
00:11 I don't know.
00:11 Something broke in the engine.
00:13 I don't know if it was a plug wire getting burnt or whatever.
00:16 But I didn't expect to finish the race.
00:18 So the fact that we were able to walk out of here
00:20 with a top 10 is--
00:22 I don't know.
00:22 It sucks to say that's a good day.
00:24 But two stage wins in a race car,
00:26 that was pretty unbelievable.
00:27 So we've got great notes for when we come back here.
00:30 And just one less in the win column.
00:33 A lot of discussion at the beginning of this race
00:36 about lack of grip.
00:37 But you were able to control this race winning
00:39 both stage one and stage two.
00:40 How much of your dirt racing background
00:42 played factor in your ability to manage the lack of grip?
00:46 I don't know.
00:46 I mean, I think that dirt racing,
00:48 if you have it in your background,
00:50 if that's what you grew up doing,
00:51 it teaches you how to maximize your car.
00:54 So maybe I got that going for me.
00:56 But bottom line is this thing was just super fast.
00:59 And anybody that would have been in this car
01:00 would have had the same day.
01:01 So that thing was just amazing.
01:03 And it's a credit to all these guys on the Stowall team.
01:05 Looking at Sonoma next week, fresh pavement on a road
01:07 course.
01:08 Where's your confidence heading to that racetrack?
01:10 I mean, I don't know.
01:11 I'm excited about it.
01:12 Sonoma, it's going to be a completely different Sonoma.
01:15 And it has always been known for low grip tire wear.
01:20 And it's not going to be that anymore.
01:21 So it's going to be really fast paced, probably
01:25 minimum pit stops.
01:26 So yeah, who can manage their tires the best
01:29 and stay out front.
