00:30 Egan, the volcano Kanaon is still at alert level 2 due to its continuous activity based on monitoring by PHIVOX.
00:45 The volcano Kanaon erupted in Negros Island last night. It released a thick smoke that reached up to 5,000 meters.
00:53 Because of this, PHIVOX raised the volcano Kanaon to alert level 2.
00:57 This means that the volcano is prohibited from entering the 4-kilometer radius permanent danger zone.
01:03 The Negros Occidental Provincial Disaster Management Program Division from the LGUs of Castellana and La Carlota City has received a request for additional help due to the effect of the eruption of volcano Kanaon.
01:16 According to Irene Beltlotenia, only a few of the LGUs are asking for additional personnel to be deployed for disaster response, food and clothing.
01:27 We are coordinating logistics and food and non-food clusters. As to the preparations, we coordinated it with the GSO and PSWDO.
