Canberra man Manfred Uhle formally charged with murder of wife Wanda Uhle, ordered to undergo mental health assessment

An elderly man from Canberra, Manfred Yool, has been charged with the murder of his wife. The 86-year-old made a brief appearance in the ACT Magistrates Court today via a video link from his bed in the Canberra Hospital. He was arrested at a family member's home yesterday after police discovered his wife, Wanda Yool, deceased in their Tuggeranong residence.
