00:00Bullies have a salient trait, their ability and fondness to play victim, to slant the truth even
00:07whenever they see fit. Much like China's Coast Guard's shallow accusation of the AFP pulling out
00:12and aiming guns at them when they came too close for comfort at the BRP Sierra Madre.
00:18This even as the CCG plucked out airdrop items intended for Philippine soldiers in the BRP
00:25Sierra Madre. The China Coast Guard seized, tossed and trashed in the high seas as our Patrick de
00:31Jesus reports. On this video taken on May 19 during a paradrop or airdrop resupply for BRP
00:45Sierra Madre in Ayuninshol, Chinese personnel allegedly snatched the supplies intended for
00:52Filipino troops from the water in one of the sorties. A Chinese Coast Guard personnel was
01:10also seen holding a pole as the rib slightly collided with the rubber boat of the Philippine
01:16Navy. Filipino soldiers shouted at them. The CCG then dumped the airdrop package.
01:26After fighting out, it contained food supplies. Some of them were recovered by Philippine Navy
01:32personnel. Only the items that were floating on the water were recovered. These are just
01:39some of them. But most of the supplies sunk. The AFP condemns this illegal act because China
01:51does not have the right to confiscate supplies. We believe that we have to perform our missions
01:57in a peaceful manner. But it was just a small package. Enough to carry food items and enough
02:24for it to float on the water. They lack common sense. We could not airdrop construction materials.
02:32Their narratives is that they do the blocking because of construction materials.
02:38I would like to point out that they lack, they have zero common sense. You will see that
02:44what appeared is all food stuff. The AFP also denied the allegations of the China Coast Guard
02:50that troops in Villar Picera Madre pointed their guns. However, they held onto their weapons,
02:57which is not a normal occurrence, as Chinese inflatable boats went close to 5 to 10 meters
03:03from the Philippine outpost vessel. Of course, this was a cause of alarm.
03:09So our soldiers, as a precautionary measure, held onto their firearms. It's part of the rules of
03:17engagement. Whenever you see imminent threats coming to your way, of course, be prepared.
03:29You cannot be unprepared in case something happens. Meanwhile, the People's Liberation
03:33Army Navy of China conducted military drills in the vicinity of Sabina or Escoda Shoal on June 2
03:40and yesterday that President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. denounced, according to the Philippine Navy.
03:46I would like to cite our commander-in-chief yesterday in the Philippine Navy Command
03:50Conference when he said that if this is the punishment for me giving a speech at the
03:56plenary of the dialogue, then they are punishing us. Nevertheless, I would like to say their actions
04:03are all illegal, not within the bounds of international law. The AFP reiterated they
04:08will not be deterred by the harassments and provocative actions of China while maintaining
04:14professionalism and maximum tolerance. Patrick de Azuz, from The National TV,
