00:00 This is an absolute changing of the guard in terms of Tasmania's energy future and as we
00:06 commence the demolition of the old former Bell Bay power station and we look forward to what
00:14 will come in its place. The Bell Bay Power Fuels project from Able Energy is a really significant
00:22 at a national at a global scale it seek to produce some 300,000 tons of green methanol annually and
00:31 green methanol is positioning itself I think as being a really important transition fuel or a
00:37 future fuel for heavy industry for transport for aviation for shipping and things of that nature
00:43 and as I say this site will be a globally significant player in that market. The world's
00:50 largest shipping companies are buying green methanol from us on this site. It is an absolute
00:55 game changer taking fossil fuels off our waterways and as a maritime state we think it's really
01:00 important to take a lead and we'd like to thank the government for the support they're giving us.
01:04 In terms of what's going to happen on site over the next 14 months the site will be demolished
01:09 in collaboration with Hydro and Demicon and McMahon's the contractor. That 70% of the material
01:15 you see behind me will actually be recycled which is really a strong story and within that time we'll
01:22 finalize our engineering and we'll come straight onto site with a series of barges and we'll bring
01:27 major engineering equipment on and be manufacturing by 2028.
01:31 Thank you.
