00:25That was just yesterday because we experienced a strong rain.

00:40We are preparing since there's a warning that there's a low pressure attack.

00:46Our residents who are near the rivers, some of them voluntarily evacuated but others who are a bit far away, they are still there.

01:03But we have already issued a warning since day one about the Lahar warning.

01:10So what is your advice to the residents who voluntarily evacuated? Where are they now?

01:16They are here in our evacuation center in Canlaon City, not in their barangay.

01:25And what is your advice to the residents who are near the rivers and are not yet evacuated?

01:31That's why we advise that in case of a strong rain, proceed to the area where their extraction point is.

01:46What are your preparations now if there's a bigger flood? Is your supply and evacuation center there enough?

01:57Yes. We are preparing for that. We have already packed food. We have volunteers, social workers and all the national and regional assistance.

02:17Secretary Rex Gatchalian visited us. We were given hygiene kits, sleeping kits and their wash.

02:28Are there major roads that will pass through the Lahar flow? If so, what is the effect of this in your area?

02:35We are preparing for the Masulug River and the Iñiwan River because those are the tributaries that will most likely pass through the Lahar.

02:48We evacuated the residents there. It's highly probable that there will be a problem in their homes.

03:00Those who are far away, they are already warned, but they were given instructions to go to the extraction point in case they can be evacuated.

03:15We are giving seven in case there's a problem. They are already oriented.

03:23If there's a flood like that, after the rain, the next problem will be a big one. Is this what you are preparing for?

03:29Yes. That's why we ordered N95 masks, even for those who pledged to provide assistance and asked what our priorities are, N95 masks.
