00:28short history of famous bands around the world, namely Avenged Sevenfold. Avenged Sevenfold,

00:39also known as A7X, has become one of the most famous and influential heavy metal bands in

00:46recent decades. With a melancholic voice combination, beautiful guitar harmonics,

00:53and emotional lyrics, this band has created a unique musical identity. In this video, I want to

01:11Avenged Sevenfold was formed in 1999 on Haunting Beach, California. The band's founding members

01:30consisted of Matt Sero as the main vocalist, Jakey Vengeance as the rhythm guitarist,

01:37and The Raps as the drummer and Matt Wendt as the bassist. In the beginning, they played

01:45metalcore music style influenced by bands such as The Religion and The NoFX. In 1999,

01:55they released their first demo album entitled The Art of Subscription Illusion. The following year,

02:03Matt Wendt left the band and was replaced by Johnny Chris. In the same year, they released their first

02:12mini album entitled Sounding The 7th Rumpet. Although this album is still rough and

02:20has not fully found their musical identity, they have received appreciation from the

02:26underground music community. In 2003, Avenged Sevenfold signed a contract with the

02:47label Half-Less Records and released their second studio album entitled Waking The Violent.

03:09hits and helped them gain wider popularity. In 2005, the band signed a

03:18contract with Warner Bros. Records and released their third album entitled City of Evil. This

03:35Hit songs like Bad Country and Beast and The Harlot became popular songs and thanks to this

03:44album, they won the Best New Artist award at the MTV Music Video Awards in 2006.

03:52Avenged Sevenfold achieved greater international success by releasing their self-titled album

04:07in 2007. This album ranked 4th on the Billboard 200 with single hits like

04:16Almost Easy and Afterlife. They also won the Best Live Band award at the Golden

04:25Arts Awards in the same year. However, in 2009, the tragedy hit this band. Drummer

04:35Drap passed away suddenly due to a heart attack. Despite this tragic loss,

04:43this band decided to continue and recruit a new drummer, Arin Ailezai.

04:56In 2010, Avenged Sevenfold released their fifth album entitled Nightmare as a

05:05final tribute to Drap. This album became their first album to debut in

05:11position 1 on the Billboard 200 and produced single hits like Nightmare and Welcome to the Family.

05:25In 2013, Avenged Sevenfold released their sixth album entitled Hail to the King. This album
