NDA Elects Modi As Its Leader, Setting Stage For His Return As PM; INDIA Bloc To Wait For Right Time

The BJP-led NDA on Wednesday, June 5, unanimously elected Narendra Modi as its leader, setting stage for his return as Prime Minister for third consecutive term. The INDIA bloc parties, however, said they will wait for an "appropriate time" to take steps to "realise people’s desire not to be ruled by the BJP’s government".
