To Pia Wurtzbach, fashion is a realization of a lifelong dream. As a young girl, the Miss Universe 2015 titleholder would gaze at magazines, longing to be one of the girls gracing those glossy pages. Decades later, in an interview with Preview last October, the 2023 Best Dressed awardee reflected on how her style has grown with her, noting how "style and fashion are ever-changing."

00:57 But I feel like style and fashion are ever-changing.

01:08 We're always evolving.
01:11 So I feel like fashion and style are the same.
01:14 My personal style? Okay, it's very broad.
01:18 I feel like there are days where I just really want to dress down
01:21 and be comfortable, be in a really nice at-leisure
01:26 outfit. That's what I would wear every day, honestly.
01:29 But I also really love dressing up.
01:32 I love trying out different looks, trying out different things.
01:36 You'll see it in all my posts. I'm always trying different hairstyles,
01:40 different makeup looks, different outfits.
01:43 And I always love a challenge.
01:46 So I collaborate with my glam team, especially my stylist.
01:50 My stylist will come up to me and be like, "This is what we're wearing today."
01:54 And I'll be like, "We're going to make that work."
01:56 Because I feel like I am a model in some way when it comes to clothes.
02:00 So you also transform when you wear an outfit.
02:04 You become the look.
02:07 So I always have a lot of fun with it, for sure.
02:11 Everywhere I look, that's where I draw inspiration.
02:14 So, you know, scrolling on my social media and then looking at
02:19 other celebrities, other models, looking at what the trends are abroad.
02:25 I just pick inspiration from everywhere.
02:29 The thing is, I try not to follow a trend just because it's a trend.
02:33 Because sometimes it doesn't look good on me.
02:35 So I think it's also really important to consider if a trend works for you.
02:40 So I like to be aware of what the trends are.
02:45 But I also have to love it.
02:47 So I feel like I'm in that in-between where I like to see what's new.
02:55 I like to experiment. I like to be comfortable.
02:58 I guess it really depends on what mood I am.
