NASCAR on FOX's Larry McReynolds compares the lap times from Cup Series practice to last year's contest at Sonoma Raceway.

00:17 That lap time was a 78.99.
00:20 We just looked at Kyle Larson, his second lap, a 74.63.
00:25 That's a little over four seconds.
00:27 Where is the speed coming?
00:29 Larson has over 13 seconds more wide open throttle on his lap than Truex did in that
00:35 lap two of last year.
00:36 So it's all about grip and speed and on that loud pedal.
