00:00 Hello, my name's Hugh Porter. I'm at Aldersley Stadium this morning and I tell you what,
00:05 it's a little bit chilly and we have had a spot of rain. But I'm delighted to say the
00:09 clouds are lifting, the weather's brightening up so we are going to be in for a great day
00:14 of action. It's round four of the National Youth Omnium Series today and that means we've
00:20 got riders from all over the country. Round about 70 actually. There are two competitions,
00:25 the under 14 girls and the under 14 boys, the under 16 boys and the under 16 girls.
00:32 And they all get away at 10 o'clock. There are five events they'll be competing in. There's
00:36 a time trial, a sprint, scratch race, elimination and a points race. And amongst the entries
00:41 here we're hoping there are riders that will carry on to eventually become world champions
00:47 and Olympic champions. As President of Wolverhampton Wheelers I've been asked to present the awards
00:52 at the end round about four o'clock so it's a huge honour and I'm looking forward to a
00:56 massive day of action, watching all these budding youngsters.
