(Adnkronos) - “La Idrosadenite suppurativa è una malattia misconosciuta”, dolorosa per la “presenza di cisti, ascessi e fistole che affliggono principalmente le pieghe del corpo. La diagnosi arriva con anni di ritardo. Bisogna lavorare in maniera sinergica per poter indirizzare i pazienti verso i centri specializzati che rendono disponibili le terapie”. Lo ha detto Mario Valenti, dermatologo e ricercatore Humanitas Research Hospital, intervistato in occasione di un evento promosso da Novartis nella giornata mondiale dell’idrosadenite suppurativa, che si celebra il 6 giugno.
