00:17running it and having that happen it was it was it was literally a shock it was a
00:21disappointment it's both surprising and not surprising because you know you
00:25spend a year in the media business as I've been an astute observer of the
00:29media business you'd have to be blind and not see all the changes going on and
00:34it's not just streaming everybody knows is moving to streaming but different
00:38financial changes and I saw it at Paramount the changes from that
00:41perspective you know it wasn't surprised like everybody in the media business
00:45knows they got to look over their shoulder because things are changing but
00:49at the same time it's still when it actually happens it's still it's still
00:53shocking and it's so something all of us went through a period of mourning there
00:57are people here you know you know Sheila you know our head of marketing
01:01started you know she was there for the entire 37 years of Showtime boxing from
01:06the Tyson days all the way through Mayweather Canelo and Tank so I was
01:12there I had a great 12-year run I wouldn't trade it for anything but
01:15there's a lot of 25-30 year employees where it's literally it's up it's like
01:20losing a loved one it is that's the relationship the exciting thing is like
01:25this is now a startup I mean Amazon's not a startup PVC is not a startup right
01:30but this configuration is a startup the first time they're doing combat sports
01:35in the US we're building a new production infrastructure from scratch
01:39and you know getting used to it and people have been saying okay like when
01:43is it gonna get to the level of Showtime activity you know this is the third
01:47event I would say by this fall August September October you're gonna see a lot
01:51of non pay-per-view fights pay-per-view fights there's a lot coming it's just
01:56you know so more and more yeah so I got on there and I almost fell over when I
02:00got on prime and on freebie my shows on there it's streaming on everything
02:04rogue slang fubo YouTube TV all of them oh you got to there's tons of them and
02:08it's it really is incredible watching it evolve like when I started it was
02:15literally zero homes and now it's like 200 million homes oh you can watch
02:18whatever you want like whatever is your thing and that's what I do yeah it is
