Outside city hall, demonstrators carried signs calling for #JusticeForJohnny ... and they picketed with cardboard cutouts of Johnny's face, leaving flowers and candles at a makeshift memorial. We even talked to Johnny's ex-fiancée, Tessa Farrell, who was in the crowd too.

00:00How do you feel about the tragedy?
00:02Yeah, it's really difficult. I go in and out of shock and grief and just kind of anger too.
00:09So it's, honestly, I haven't been able to work on anything else.
00:13It's constantly on my mind just getting justice for him,
00:17but then just kind of peace for the family and the friends, for all of us.
00:21And it's just a really sad tragedy.
00:24I'm still just, yeah, it's kind of hard. It's a roller coaster.
00:28I feel like he was my twin flame sometimes.
00:31When we first met, we wrestled each other at a friend's birthday.
00:34No one does that when you meet someone. Why are you wrestling?
00:37I put a picture online.
00:39But no, we brought each other.
00:41We became alive when we met each other, and he's such an adventurous guy.
00:46He was always kind of part of my soul.
00:49I felt so connected to him, even when we weren't together.
00:53I'm so proud of him.
00:55I mean, he literally is such a talented actor
00:58and such a committed friend to everyone who knew him.
01:03So, yeah, it's hard to speak about him because there are so many other people
01:07that love him that deserve to get to speak out about him.
01:10Yeah, he was an amazing guy.
01:12What is it that we're asking for, you know, for the city moving forward?
01:17Yeah, we want better prosecution laws for criminals.
01:20We don't know if these guys were sent back out on the street
01:23after being convicted of a crime.
01:25We don't even know if they're legal citizens.
01:28I mean, there's a lot of illegal people out here.
01:31We don't know who these people are that stole catalytic converters.
01:35So just better laws all around, and then also, I would say, safer streets.
01:40Maybe more funding for the police
01:42because it seems like crimes are just running rampant right now.
