New housing targets set by the Victorian government in bid to tackle the housing crisis

The Victorian government wants to unlock more vacant land for new homes by giving local councils fresh housing targets. It will see some inner Melbourne councils build tens of thousands of new homes over the next three decades to help slow urban sprawl.
