How Azhar Mahmood played in IPL #euphoriacricket

Pakistani players were banned from participating in the IPL after the 2008 season, but Azhar Mahmood who played for Pakistan from 1996-2007 played in the IPL from 2012-2015. He played the 2012 and 2013 IPL for KXIP and the 2015 IPL for KKR. So, how did he do it? Well, Azhar married Ebba Qureshi, a British citizen, in 2003. However, he had to wait till 2011 to get a British passport, and only after that; he was allowed to play in the IPL. Azhar had even expressed his desire to play for England but didn’t get any opportunities.
