US men's volleyball team loses to Iran but wins Filipino hearts

00:07From game against Iran, was it Iran playing really well, or did the team struggle with something?
00:12I think it's a little bit of both. I think we have to first give credit to Iran. They played great, especially in defense.
00:18Everybody was making good defensive plays, even the middle blockers.
00:22So we have to give a lot of credit there, but we have a lot to work on, and we know that, and we're going to face it head-on.
00:29Your team has been receiving a lot of love and social media from Filipino fans. How was it like playing your first game in front of the fans?
00:35Yeah, I wish we could have gone differently, you know?
00:37But nonetheless, we really appreciate all of the support and love from the Filipino fans.
00:43We feel it every day, all the time, and so it's great to be here to finally try to put on some good performances for them.
