Shares of Trump Media closed nearly 15% down on Thursday. Trump Media stock has been declining since the beginning of June, when it was trading at over $49 per share and closed at just under $27 on the date mentioned in the article. High trading volumes accompanied the price drop, with over 13 million shares traded compared to the average 30-day volume. The SEC approving Trump Media's registration of additional shares for resale contributed to the sell-off this week.  Trump's net worth from his Trump Media shares has declined by over $2.6 billion from its high of over $5.6 billion.
