Ishikawa leads Japan to victory

Yuki Ishikawa led the way as Japan completed an epic comeback against France, 17-25, 19-25, 25-16, 25-23, 15-10, in the Men's Volleyball Nations League at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

Ishikawa unloaded 33 points to lead the Japanese, who tallied their second straight win in front of 11,879 fans to rise to 8-3 good for fifth place in the standings.

Japan wraps its VNL campaign against fellow fan-favorite USA on Sunday at 7 p.m., their match serving as the final offering of this VNL Philippine leg.
