00:00It's really good to see you. It's been forever.
00:03Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the famous
00:07actors who appeared on the crime drama Criminal Minds.
00:10Depends on what you want. I want it all.
00:12We're excluding the most memorable guest stars like Tim Curry and C. Thomas Howell.
00:18Number 30. Gavin Rossdale
00:20Rossdale is obviously best known as a rock star and member of the British band Bush,
00:24which he co-founded all the way back in 1992.
00:27You might also remember that he was married to Gwen Stefani from 2002 to 2016.
00:32Yeah, Stefani doesn't just like country music singers.
00:35But back to Rossdale, who, although best known for his musical talents,
00:38has done a fair bit of acting over the last few decades, with roles in movies like Constantine.
00:43And in 2009, he starred in an episode of Criminal Minds as a rocker named
00:48Paul Davies with an on-stage alter ego named Dante.
00:51Are you a vampire, Mr. Davies?
00:54You can't be serious. It's a character I play.
00:57Stage act.
00:58You know, sometimes things get out of hand.
01:00His music is connected to multiple bloody killings.
01:03You know, all I really ever wanted to do was make music.
01:09And I'm not sure when that's stopped being enough.
01:12However, Davies is later found innocent when it's revealed that his manager was
01:16the mastermind behind the vampiristic murders committed by a mentally unwell fan, Gina.
01:21Number 29. Daryl Sabara
01:23As with most actors who started out young in the industry,
01:26it can be hard to see Daryl Sabara as anyone other than Junie Cortez from the Spy Kids franchise.
01:32However, he had various television roles in shows,
01:35including Wizards of Waverly Place and Ben 10,
01:38and continued acting into adulthood with more mature projects like Rob Zombie's Halloween.
01:42In recent years, Sabara has made headlines due to his relationship with Meghan Trainor.
01:47But back in a Season 2 episode of Criminal Minds, he played Kevin Rose,
01:51a teenager who helps the team catch a predator that leads to the safe return of a victim.
01:56You have a chance to be the one who saves someone, Kevin.
02:00You can be the one who answers him, the one who stops his pain.
02:03You can't get to your father, but you can get to the guy who's hurting this boy.
02:07Number 28. Doug Jones
02:09Given that he spent much of his career under heavy special effects makeup,
02:13Doug Jones is pretty unrecognizable.
02:16She's lying there.
02:17You know, I need money real bad.
02:23But you've more than likely seen him in any of his roles.
02:26Billy Butcherson in Hocus Pocus,
02:28Amphibian Man in The Shape of Water,
02:30and more recently, Baron Afanas in What We Do in the Shadows.
02:34The talented actor and contortionist also guest-starred in not one,
02:38but two Criminal Minds episodes as different characters.
02:41In the Season 1 episode Blood Hungry, he played Domino Thacker,
02:45a man with a criminal record and a history of substance use.
02:48Then in Season 4's Brothers in Arms,
02:51Jones briefly appeared as a fight club captain named Beanie.
02:54You're breaking the laws here, officer.
02:57Agents, no matter what it looks like.
02:59Number 27. Wil Wheaton
03:01In Stand By Me, Wil Wheaton went on a hike with his three best friends
03:05to see a corpse of a local found close to train tracks.
03:08In the Criminal Minds Season 4 episode Paradise,
03:11Wheaton's character is the one causing a string of corpses
03:13as a motel owner slash serial killer.
03:16You need to let us go. Now.
03:24If you thought he was evil in his first couple of appearances on The Big Bang Theory,
03:28that's nothing compared to the deep, dark,
03:30and disturbed force he was as Floyd Hansen on Criminal Minds.
03:34I want to know why you are with a man who doesn't take care of you.
03:40Using his motel as a criminal playground,
03:42this was one seriously disturbed character.
03:45Don't worry. When I'm done with her, it'll take the fight right out of you.
03:50You might recognize two of Hansen's victims,
03:53played by Teen Witch star Robin Lively and Lost alum William Maypother.
03:57Their characters, Abby and Ian Corbin, have a nightmarish stay.
04:01But unlike so many others, they make it out alive.
04:05Number 26. Finn Wittrock
04:07From 2009 to 2011, Juilliard grad Finn Wittrock played Damon Miller
04:12in over 100 episodes of All My Children.
04:15But since he starred as wealthy psychopath
04:18Dandy Mott in American Horror Story Freak Show,
04:20the actor became a Ryan Murphy regular,
04:23continuing to work with him on AHS,
04:25the assassination of Gianni Versace American Crime Story, and Ratchet.
04:29In the Criminal Minds episode True Genius,
04:31Wittrock's Harvey Morell is a successful guy getting married
04:35until his old pal Caleb Rossmore becomes jealous.
04:38You've lost your mind. Why do things have to change?
04:42Grow up, Caleb! We couldn't keep doing the same things forever.
04:46Caleb tries to reignite their shared obsession with the Zodiac Killer
04:50by committing a string of copycat murders.
04:53It's later revealed that the former friends murdered someone together,
04:56so Harvey isn't exactly innocent,
04:58which is pretty on-brand with Wittrock's other roles.
05:01You're successful, you're charismatic, you're dominant,
05:05which means that you most likely made the plans and Caleb followed.
05:08Let me ask you this, where did you hide the body?
05:13Dean Norris played a lot of military and law enforcement roles
05:16throughout his acting career,
05:17notably DEA agent Hank Schrader on the hit series Breaking Bad.
05:21He kept the streak going in this episode of Criminal Minds,
05:24appearing as Detective John Barton,
05:26who the BAU assists in finding a missing girl, Rebecca Daniels,
05:30played by Teen Wolf alum Holland Roden.
05:33Decent people, she seems like an amazing girl, and that's all.
05:42Sometimes it's just too much.
05:43Barton is emotionally invested in the case,
05:46and when they finally save her from captivity, he comforts her.
05:49Are you okay?
05:53I just wanna go home.
05:55And while they weren't in the same episode,
05:58Norris' Breaking Bad co-star Anna Gunn was agent Lily Lambert
06:01on season 10's Beyond Borders, and the spin-off series of the same name.
06:06But your essays revealed moments that
06:08forever changed the way you look at the world.
06:11It's your passion for justice, that's why you're here.
06:13That's what you need to hold on to.
06:17Two decades after taking off her glasses,
06:19letting down her hair, and turning heads in She's All That,
06:22Cook turned Spencer Reed's head in Criminal Minds.
06:25You strike me as being normal.
06:28All right, so let me get this straight,
06:33I'm part of your homework to locate someone normal.
06:37Well, it sounds weird when you say it like that.
06:38Cook appeared in two episodes,
06:40and although she and Reed had an obvious attraction,
06:42they ran into some problems right as their romance was starting.
06:46That problem being an international serial killer
06:49with a vendetta against Reed, Cat Adams.
06:52But they weathered that psychopathic storm
06:54and ended her final appearance on the show with a kiss.
06:58This was probably the worst third date ever.
07:01Is there anything I can do to salvage it?
07:06There may be one thing.
07:14Some fans worried that the relationship had fizzled
07:16when Reed showed up alone to the party in the final episode.
07:19But TV Line quoted a source saying that the relationship was,
07:23quote, intentionally left open to viewer interpretation.
07:27I use psychology to find people.
07:30Good, find me.
07:32Number 23, Gina Torres.
07:35Torres has been working in Hollywood since the early 90s,
07:38but is probably best known for her roles as Jessica Pearson in Suits,
07:42Zoe Washburn in Firefly,
07:44and an EMS replacement captain on 911 Lone Star.
07:48However, the talented Ms. Torres had yet to land any of that back in 2008
07:52when she made her guest star turn on Criminal Minds.
07:55When this type of killer is triggered,
07:56they need to release their resentment quickly.
07:58Subsequently, they tend to strike close to the focus of that resentment.
08:02So if the focus is his wife, then that focus is his home.
08:06In the season four episode Normal,
08:09Gina played Detective Thea Salinas,
08:11who works with the BAU team on a case involving a spree killer
08:14targeting female drivers on California freeways.
08:16He's suffering from some kind of psychotic break.
08:18Which means the world he sees around him has changed,
08:21and so is his role in it.
08:22Fans of The X-Files probably did a double take
08:25seeing The X-Files actor Mitch Pileggi as Norman Hill,
08:29a.k.a. The Road Warrior.
08:34Although he's had other roles in film and television,
08:36it's hard to see Brian Baumgartner as anyone other than Kevin Malone on The Office.
08:41So imagine viewers' surprise seeing him as a spree-killing unsub
08:45in the ninth season of Criminal Minds.
08:47The actor played shipyard worker Bill Harding,
08:50who had a lot going on for one episode.
08:56He suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder after a childhood tragedy,
09:04and as an adult, he received a terminal mesothelioma diagnosis.
09:09The chilling part isn't what we would expect
09:11from the hilarious and lovable Baumgartner,
09:13but he really showed his range here.
09:16While Jackson Rathbone has several credits to his name,
09:19the actor-slash-musician is undoubtedly most known
09:22as Jasper Hale in The Twilight Saga.
09:24In the middle of the pandemonium,
09:26he found time to guest star on Criminal Minds.
09:29He played Adam Jackson,
09:31a hotel employee suspected of murdering male guests on vacation.
09:34He was also the first male guest star in The Twilight Saga,
09:38and he was also the first male guest star in The Twilight Series.
09:41After the BAU interviews him,
09:43Reed believes his behavior points to a dissociative identity disorder.
09:47Adam spent years living with his abusive stepfather,
09:50and his mind formed an alternate personality called Amanda to protect him.
09:55Rathbone delivers a nuanced performance
09:57that makes Adam one of the rare sympathetic unsubs.
10:00-"What are you doing here?"
10:01-"I'm here to help you."
10:03-"I'm here to help you."
10:04-"I'm here to help you."
10:05-"I'm here to help you."
10:06-"I'm here to help you."
10:07-"I'm here to help you."
10:08-"I'm here to help you."
10:09-"I'm here to help you."
10:10-"Why do you care?"
10:13-"He deserves a life. It's his."
10:17-"So you're trying to wear me down and release him?"
10:23Star Trek fans know actor-director Jonathan Frakes
10:26as commanding officer-slash-captain William T. Riker
10:29on Star Trek The Next Generation,
10:30along with other shows, films, and video games in the franchise.
10:34Younger audiences may recognize his voice in several animated series like Gargoyles,
10:39Adventure Time, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
10:41Frakes also had his turn as one of the hosts of Beyond Belief Factor Fiction,
10:46but his appearance in one of Criminal Minds' most disturbing episodes
10:49deserves more recognition.
10:51-"Why are these toys here?"
10:52-"I use them in my therapy."
10:54-"No, I understand that, but why are they way up on this shelf,
10:56away from where any kids can actually reach them?"
10:59-"They're reminders of patients that I've helped."
11:01Frakes played child psychiatrist Dr. Arthur Malcolm,
11:04whose daughter Samantha became a serial killer
11:07after enduring his years of mistreatment.
11:09He finds himself on the receiving end of Dr. Spencer Reed's verbal takedown,
11:14which is oh-so-satisfying.
11:16-"Because my lab, it's a jury of your peers.
11:19My tests will be Jenny Larson, Abigail Moore, and Linda Krauss.
11:23The D.A. will put them on the stand,
11:24and I'm gonna personally bring these dolls in,
11:26and we're gonna watch how they react."
11:27Number 19.
11:28Frankie Muniz
11:30Muniz is best known for his starring role as the titular Malcolm
11:33in the 2000 sitcom Malcolm in the Middle.
11:36-"If we don't let those stupid rankings get to us, they mean nothing."
11:38-"Easy for you to say, number one."
11:40The success of that show raised Frankie's profile
11:43to the point where he was one of the biggest teen movie stars of the decade,
11:46with films like Big Fat Liar and the Agent Cody Banks movies.
11:50But while Muniz worked primarily in the comedy and child-friendly arena,
11:54his turn on criminal minds was anything but.
11:57-"All you have to do is say your name."
11:58-"Like yours?"
12:00-"What's wrong with mine?"
12:01-"Come on, I want something fun."
12:03Frankie went way against type as vigilante serial killer Johnny McHale
12:07in the season three episode True Night.
12:10-"You don't know what you're out there!
12:12No one knows about the night!"
12:14-"We don't want to hurt you, Johnny."
12:15-"It's okay, son. It's okay."
12:18It's one of the most tragic cases of the show,
12:21and Muniz delivered an impressive performance as a grieving artist.
12:25Number 18.
12:26Michelle Trachtenberg
12:27-"You're choosing me over her."
12:33-"Diane, how could it be anyone else?"
12:36-"Prove it."
12:37Michelle Trachtenberg has been a familiar face since the 1990s,
12:41starring in films like Harriet the Spy and Inspector Gadget.
12:44The budding actress also dominated the small screen in shows such as
12:47The Adventures of Pete and Pete,
12:49Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
12:50and later a recurring role on Gossip Girl.
12:53But for criminal minds fans, Trachtenberg was Diane Turner,
12:57the stalker unsub who killed Spencer Reed's love interest,
13:00geneticist Maeve Donovan,
13:01played by Leverage's Beth Riesgraf.
13:04-"I don't need her anymore."
13:08-"Kill her and she won't have to live with the fact that you're smarter."
13:10Spencer and Maeve only got to meet in person once
13:13before he had to witness Turner take her own life along with Maeve's.
13:18Number 17.
13:19Tony Todd
13:20Though the actor's career spans decades,
13:22Tony Todd became synonymous with the titular Candyman
13:25when he donned the hook for the first time in 1992.
13:29He's also known as the ominous mortician William Bloodworth
13:32in the Final Destination franchise.
13:34-"You can't cheat death. There are no escapes."
13:37But in an episode of Criminal Minds, he played Eric Miller,
13:40an innocent man wrongfully accused of a horrific crime.
13:44Todd gives a brief but heartbreaking performance
13:46as a father suffering the devastating loss of his family
13:49while also locked up in jail.
13:51-"I was crazy, out of my mind. I didn't know what to do.
13:55And I knew the cops were gonna blame me, and they have.
13:59So you ran?"
14:00Though not in this episode,
14:02the show also featured other horror icons,
14:04including Jigsaw himself, Tobin Bell.
14:06-"You see, this here is a family matter.
14:11And we would appreciate it if the federal government just back off."
14:15Number 16.
14:16Brad Dourif
14:18Brad Dourif began his acting career in the 1970s,
14:21notably portraying Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,
14:24a role that earned him an Oscar nom and Golden Globe win.
14:28However, most might recognize him, well, his voice as Charles Lee Ray,
14:33a.k.a. Chucky, in the long-running child's play franchise.
14:36Interestingly, his turn on Criminal Minds would involve puppets,
14:40though not of the killing variety.
14:42In season eight's The Lesson, Dourif played Adam Rain,
14:46a man who suffered damage to his prefrontal cortex,
14:49resulting in his childlike state of mind.
14:51-"They're ruining it. They're ruining it.
14:55I don't know what to do."
14:56Reliving the traumatic night his father died,
14:59Adam begins kidnapping people and dislocating their joints
15:02to make them into human marionettes.
15:04It is definitely one of the more disturbing episodes.
15:07-"We're in the middle of a performance."
15:11-"This is not a performance."
15:13-"Yes, it is a performance, and this is not how it ends!"
15:16Number 15.
15:17Cheryl Lee Ralph
15:19Before Cheryl Lee Ralph was winning Emmys for her stellar performance
15:22on Abbott Elementary, she played Hayden Montgomery,
15:25a diplomat and the second Mrs. David Rossi.
15:28The former couple reconnects after he meets Joy,
15:31their daughter who he didn't know existed.
15:33-"When I heard that David was coming, I didn't want to intrude.
15:37Then I realized how foolish that was.
15:41I suppose we should talk, shouldn't we?"
15:43Ralph, also famous for Moesha and Sister Act 2 Back in the Habit,
15:47appeared in two episodes in season 11,
15:50with her character reconciling with Rossi and getting back together.
15:53-"On one condition.
15:57That we call our daughter back.
16:01Together."
16:01However, their relationship ended off-screen in later seasons.
16:05Interestingly, her Abbott co-star Tyler James Williams also appeared in the show
16:09as technical analyst Russ Montgomery,
16:12though the characters are not said to be related.
16:14-"Wow, that sounds lonely."
16:17-"Sometimes it is, but we are not going to think about that right now,
16:20because what this family needs is a little sunshine."
16:23Number 14. Sidney Sweeney
16:26Even the most avid of Criminal Minds watchers would be forgiven for not recognizing
16:30future Euphoria star Sidney Sweeney,
16:32because she's young and has very few lines of dialogue.
16:35But she's certainly made an impact.
16:37-"Please. Please don't do this."
16:41Joining her in this season 5 episode is Joshua Rush,
16:44best known for playing Cyrus Goodman in Andy Mack,
16:46though his screen time is even shorter.
16:49His appearance is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment.
16:51Sweeney's Danny Forrester and Rush's Ronnie Downey don't share any scenes together.
16:56However, both of their characters are victims of a family annihilator.
17:03Number 13. Ed Asner
17:05Legendary actor Ed Asner began his career in the 1950s
17:09and worked until his passing at age 91 in 2021.
17:13His most famous role is Lou Grant, whom he played for over a decade,
17:17starting on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and later the eponymous spinoff.
17:21He also became known to younger audiences as Santa Claus in Elf
17:25and the voice of Carl Fredricksen in Pixar's Up.
17:28On Criminal Minds, Asner played Roy Brooks,
17:31Haley and Jessica's father,
17:32who made his only appearance five seasons after Haley died in season 5.
17:37-"You and me, we're not good enough. I'll never forgive you for what happened."
17:44-"I wish you didn't feel that way."
17:46Roy spends most of the episode making sure Hotch knows
17:49that he blames him for his daughter's death.
17:51Asner perfectly delivers the emotional lines
17:53with the not-so-subtle hostile undertone of a grieving father.
17:57-"There'll come a day when I won't know who she is.
18:02Just a stranger. No anger."
18:07Number 12. Ben Savage
18:09As far as we can tell, Ben Savage has no familial relationship to Mandy Patinkin.
18:14And yet he has made a small career for himself
18:17in the 21st century playing Mr. Patinkin's younger self.
18:20-"Well, you got me hooked. Let's take a trip to Roanoke."
18:23-"You know, I want to talk to these victims' families.
18:25Maybe there's a connection between them."
18:27In 2020, he guest-starred in one episode of the Showtime series Homeland
18:32as a younger Saul Berenson.
18:34-"Frohlein, I'm not who you think I am."
18:37-"Why don't you trust me?"
18:44However, previous to that, he had twice shown up on Criminal Minds,
18:48playing, that's right, a young Jason Gideon.
18:51-"You know, I never liked your games."
18:53-"I know. Remember? You and me? My yin to your yang?
18:59We were like Martin and Lewis."
19:00Number 11. Luke Perry
19:02Though playing Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills' 90210 skyrocketed him to stardom
19:07in the 1990s, modern audiences likely know the late Luke Perry
19:11as Fred Andrews on Riverdale.
19:13Perry appeared in two episodes as cult leader Benjamin Cyrus.
19:17-"Savages, they call us, because our manners differ from theirs."
19:21Perry's character was inspired by real-life cult leaders David Koresh and Jim Jones,
19:25and commits similarly awful actions.
19:28He holds Reed and Prentiss hostage inside the compound
19:31until the team is finally able to save them.
19:34Perry showed up again in the season 14 premiere 300,
19:37so named because it was the 300th episode of the series.
19:41And to celebrate the milestone,
19:43the series treated fans to a history of the show and characters,
19:46and brought back a number of faces from the past, including Cyrus, via flashback.
19:51-"We're believers, Dave.
19:53We believe that God says what he means and means what he says.
19:56His laws don't depend on what state you live in."
20:00-"I remember him."
20:01Number 10. Jason Alexander
20:03Although both end up with a criminal record,
20:05Alexander's George Costanza and Henry Grace are two very different characters.
20:10And we aren't just talking about the hairdo.
20:12-"I killed 12 people because of you.
20:19You took my family.
20:22I take yours."
20:24While George is found guilty of criminal indifference and sentenced to one year in prison,
20:28Henry murders several people and is eventually executed.
20:31-"I'm gonna be there when they strap you down for that lethal injection.
20:35And just before they hit the plunger,
20:37I'm gonna lean in real close and tell you to say hello to your scumbag brother."
20:44Grace is the brother of a serial killer who was captured by Rossi,
20:47and who makes it his mission to get revenge for that.
20:50But in the end, Rossi is able to outsmart the long-haired killer
20:54and send him away for good.
20:56-"I think you'll discover that the videotaped confession
21:00has the power to move a lot of jurors."
21:03Number 9. Robert Englund
21:05Robert Englund made his film debut all the way back in 1974,
21:09and has continued to work in film and television for over 40 years now.
21:13-"Has the page analysis come back yet?"
21:15-"Uh, this particular sample was written no more than a week ago."
21:20But it was and still is the A Nightmare on Elm Street movies
21:24that are what he is most associated with.
21:26However, as a change of pace,
21:28instead of killing people in their dreams,
21:30Englund played a detective on criminal minds.
21:33-"Welcome to St. Baldwin's. Creepy, isn't it?
21:37They shut it down in 98 after a fire burned down the east wing."
21:40As Detective Gassner,
21:41he comes in to help the BAU team solve a number of ritualistic murders.
21:45These crimes are committed by James Heathridge, played by Kyle Gallner.
21:49Horror fans might recognize the actor from several films,
21:53including the 2010 remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street.
21:57While many people might not remember Englund's appearance on the show,
22:00there's a good chance some didn't even recognize him,
22:03given that as Freddy Krueger, he is heavily made up.
22:06-"You would be correct."
22:09Number 8. Evan Peters
22:10Fans of The Office will remember Evan as Michael's nephew,
22:14who, in an effort to teach him a lesson,
22:15he spanks in front of the entire office.
22:18-"Are you not going to learn to be more professional, Luke?"
22:23But for the non-Office superfans,
22:26he's probably best known for his roles in the X-Men franchise
22:28and the American Horror Story anthology.
22:31And speaking of horrors,
22:32Peters' character in Criminal Minds lived a horror story of his own.
22:36-"They're home." -"Who is?"
22:40-"Do what they say, okay? It'll make it easier."
22:45Charlie Hillridge was kidnapped as a kid
22:48and held captive for years by his abductors.
22:50After years in captivity,
22:52Charlie was forced by his captors to help them commit their crimes
22:55and kidnap more victims.
22:57-"I knew Steven. He was like a brother to me."
23:02-"Did he remember us?"
23:04-"You didn't doubt that, did you?
23:06Remembering you was the only way we survived."
23:08Number 7. Jamie Kennedy
23:11Satanic serial killer and cannibal Floyd Phelan Farrell
23:14is a hard unsub to forget.
23:16However, not everyone realized it was actor-comedian Jamie Kennedy
23:20under the beard and glasses.
23:21-"God is in all of us."
23:26-"We need to stop the interview." -"So is Tracy Lambert."
23:30And it's not exactly a role we would expect him to play
23:33since he's known for films like Romeo and Juliet
23:35and Malibu's Most Wanted.
23:37Of course, Kennedy is best recognized as horror expert
23:40Randy Meeks in the Scream franchise.
23:43Farrell first appeared in season 3's Lucky
23:45when the BAU investigated an especially disturbing murder
23:48in Bridgewater, Florida.
23:50Kennedy reprised the role in the season 13 episode Lucky Strikes,
23:53which saw him trying and failing to gain his freedom.
23:57-"We can now try you for these recent murders as an accessory,
24:01as well as first-degree murder for all the murders
24:04you committed 10 years ago."
24:05-"You son of a bitch!"
24:07Number 6. Elle Fanning.
24:09Fanning played Tracy Bell, a young girl who was almost the victim
24:12of Cameron Monaghan's young serial killer Jeffrey Charles.
24:15-"I don't feel good." -"I told you to shut up!"
24:22Monaghan is no stranger to playing disturbed characters,
24:25like twin brothers Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska,
24:28the Joker-esque characters on the Gotham TV series.
24:31After being saved by Gideon and the BAU team,
24:34Tracy and her family moved to another city.
24:36Later on in the season 2 finale when Frank Breitkopf
24:39is killing people who had, at one time, been saved by the BAU,
24:43Tracy again comes face-to-face with evil
24:45and is abducted by Breitkopf.
24:47-"I'm scared. I want my mommy. Please. Please."
24:56Thankfully, Gideon is able to save her again.
24:59-"I just wanted to call and thank you. Thank you."
25:04Number 5. Erin Paul.
25:06There are probably those wondering how they forgot
25:08that the guy who played Jesse Pinkman was on an episode of Criminal Minds.
25:12-"You're a Satanist, Mike." -"Sure."
25:14-"And you worship the devil." -"You even know what Satanism is?"
25:18-"Educators."
25:19Well, when Erin Paul appeared on the show back in 2005,
25:22Jesse Pinkman was nothing more than possibly a glimmer
25:25in the eye of Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan.
25:27-"So you do have a plan." -"Yeah, Mr. White. Yeah, science."
25:33Still three years away from his breakthrough role,
25:36Paul played Michael Zizzo, a suspect in a series of cult-related killings.
25:41As a self-proclaimed Satanist, he fits the profile
25:44that the real killer Corey Bridges takes advantage of.
25:47His hostility while being interrogated sure didn't help either.
25:51And while Jesse Pinkman would be guilty of a number of crimes,
25:55Mike Zizzo was exonerated and let go after being interrogated.
25:59-"It's all hypocrisy. Do this, don't do that.
26:02And all the time, the adults are the ones screwing up."
26:07-"So basically, we're just atheists. Aggressively atheist."
26:11Number 4. Arielle Winter.
26:13Arielle Winter started acting very early in life,
26:16appearing on Monk and voicing animated characters in series like Phineas and Ferb.
26:21In the late 2000s, she landed the breakthrough role of Alex Dunphy on Modern Family.
26:26Winter also voiced Sofia Cordova in the Disney Junior series Sofia the First,
26:31as well as spinoff movies.
26:32But before either of the life-changing roles,
26:35she played Katie Jacobs,
26:36a young girl who goes missing while at the mall with her family.
26:39-"Jeremy, I don't like it here." -"Well, tough, because I do."
26:42It's one of the tensest, saddest episodes of the show,
26:45which says a lot considering the cases they handle.
26:48Winter doesn't have as much screen time as other supporting characters,
26:52but she's incredibly adorable and sympathetic in the brief moments we do see her.
27:08Number 3. Walton Goggins.
27:11-"It's about Matthew." -"Benton?"
27:13-"He's dead, Emily. I...I didn't want to tell you over the phone."
27:20Even if you don't know his name,
27:22chances are you've seen and or heard Walton Goggins in something.
27:26You'll find the versatile actor in several Quentin Tarantino films,
27:30including Django Unchained,
27:32along with several TV shows,
27:33like Justified, The Righteous Gemstones, and Fallout.
27:37In the late 2000s, Goggins also found time to play John Cooley,
27:41an old friend of Emily Prentiss who delivers the devastating news
27:44that their mutual friend Matthew Benton died.
27:46But it's the unusual circumstances involving an exorcism
27:50that lead to an unofficial BAU investigation.
27:53-"They're going to stop you." -"They have no authority.
27:57My orders come from God."
27:58-"I'm not part of your congregation. You have no right to be here."
28:01Cooley almost meets the same fate, but Prentiss rescues him just in time.
28:06The episode Demonology also features actors James Remar as Tom Benton
28:10and Carmen Argenziano as Father Paul Silvano.
28:14Number 2. Matthew Lillard
28:16Matthew Lillard has had a long career in film and television,
28:19playing more than one iconic character.
28:21For younger audiences, he's Shaggy Rogers from many Scooby-Doo films,
28:25as well as countless animated series and video games.
28:28But to everyone else, Lillard is known for playing Stu Mocker in Scream,
28:33one half of the OG Ghostface duo.
28:35So he's no stranger to the horror genre or playing crazed murderers.
28:39-"Never, ever, ever under any circumstances say,
28:42I'll be right back, because you won't be back."
28:44-"I'm getting another beer. You want one?" -"Yeah, sure."
28:47-"I'll be right back!"
28:51In Season 8's The Apprenticeship,
28:53Lillard embodied another serial killer, David Roy Turner.
28:56The episode sees his character mentoring young killer-in-training Toby Whitewood.
29:01-"This one. This is your garden variety, $5, 16 ounces with a steel head.
29:06Sold in hundreds of stores everywhere. This is the one you want."

29:27Number 1. Anton Yelchin
29:29In Season 2's Sex, Birth, Death,
29:31Spencer Reed is approached by Nathan Harris,
29:34a student trying to make sense of his violent urges.
29:36-"I read a lot, you know, true crime, like graphic novels mostly.
29:40They're all about whether there's really such a thing as evil,
29:43and like nature versus nurture, all that.
29:45So I figured it'd be smart to hear it from an expert."
29:47The Reed-centric episode sees the doctor doing whatever he can
29:50to help the distressed young man, and ultimately saves his life.
29:53Anton Yelchin's powerful performance makes Nathan
29:56one of the most sympathetic characters in the show's history.
29:59The late actor was known for stepping into the role of Pavel Chekhov
30:02in 2009's Star Trek reboot and its subsequent sequels.
30:06Yelchin had starring roles in a number of films,
30:08including Like Crazy, Fright Night, and Green Room.
30:12Sadly, the 27-year-old passed away following an accident in 2016.
30:16-"You know, once they lock me up, they're never gonna let me out of there."
30:21-"You don't know that."
30:23-"Whatever, I just came to say goodbye."
