00:00Sandbags were placed around Ferry Station 4 in the Malabon-Navotas River as a countermeasure to the rise in water during high tide.
00:14The damaged floodgate in Navotas has not yet been repaired due to the force of a barge that passed through there even in low tide.
00:22Until now, the floodgate has not been lifted and is still open.
00:27Malabon, next to Navotas, is affected.
00:30Due to the expected rainfall today, the forecast for possible floods in several parts of Calabar Zone, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Karaga and BARMM was raised.
00:44According to the forecast, the General Flood Advisory will last until 6 pm.
00:50The rainfall in the country is an effect of the Intertropical Convergence Zone and the Easter Leaks.
