00:00I do not deny that the issue of lack of specialists in the field of cardiothoracic surgery has
00:14sparked a little controversy involving the UITM institution.
00:21But I would like to make it clear here that originally, this course uses the UMMC Medical Center
00:32together with Pulau Pinang Hospital, Serdang Hospital, Jantung Negara Institute, and Jantung Sarawak Center
00:39as a training center.
00:42What happened was that there was a little misinterpretation by the MMC.
00:51Therefore, we have tried to find the best approach to solve the problem,
00:59especially for the four specialists who have passed through the Parallel Pathway, or FRCS.
01:13So this is what caused a little misunderstanding, especially those who are said to be only available at the UITM.
01:22However, as a ministry, we have tried to find the best approach to solve the problem.
01:29As a result, a discussion was held with the University of Malaya through the UMMC.
01:39At that time, they were planning to introduce the course at the UMMC.
01:45So, God willing, in the near future, issues like this will be solved as soon as possible.
01:55We expect that in October, special issues related to kydotoracic will be solved.
02:04This means that there are other pathways, other than the UITM, there are also other universities that will offer it.
02:12So in October, we expect that the UMMC will offer this course so that those who want to take this specialist course can also be there.
02:23And then it will also be followed by other universities.
