00:00Watch your low blows, watch the punch on the back of the head, keep it clean, protect yourselves at all times, listen to my commands at all times, touch them up, let's do it, back to your corners.

01:56I've been told Barry want to watch.
01:58Impressive.
02:00Yeah, it was a good shot.
02:04You know what, he's been nice and aggressive.
02:06If he'd just slowed down just a little bit.
02:08He's neat with his work.
02:10Again, he dips his legs a little bit.
02:12He comes back up with a nice depth of the body.
02:14Yeah, good variation.
02:16Changing the level as well.
02:18Head, body, the left of the body worked well.
02:20Good amateur.
02:22Secured his spot.
02:24Sorry on Team GB.
02:28He's an 80 amateur fighter.
02:30170, working well here.
02:32Head and body, Barry.
02:34Yeah, the left hook has been the place for him
02:36in this round, hasn't it, for sure.
02:38What he did quite well in the second round as well.
02:40When he was in close, he just used his arms
02:42and his forearms, just a block shot.
02:44That was beautiful.
02:46He took his head off the line on the outside
02:48of the jab of Tchaikovsky.
02:50And he threw the right hand.
02:52It was a lovely shot.
02:54The pole doing the right thing.
02:57Well-timed right hand as well there.
02:59Slotted left hand from Tchaikovsky
03:01and he made him pee.
03:09The last 10 seconds of the opening round
03:11has been a very good fast start from Owen Rees.
03:14Done exactly what he said he was going to do.
03:16Credit to the pole. He's had some big shots
03:18but he's still standing.

04:21What?
04:23this shot really well those right hands over the lazy jab there of Tchaikovsky just that's
04:27the perfect timing there for that and the left hook to the body and head was fantastic there
04:31from Rhys. Almost jogs out to the center of the ring for the start of the second round
04:37again looking to land big bombs credits to Tchaikovsky trying to land shots of his own
04:43it's just that chin very high up the pole carries that right hand a little low as well when he throws
04:48his left hook he's open to the shots and Rhys looking for that shot Barry. But what he does
04:53the jabs too powerful people don't realize this it's how fast it comes out how fast it comes back
04:57so he throws it out at a decent speed but it comes back too slow and Rhys has found that out
05:01very early so every time he throws a jab he just fires the right hand follows it back and it gets
05:06there before before the left handers. Tchaikovsky from the city of Lublin about 100 miles away from
05:15Warsaw and you can see his game comes to win. He's been researched haven't he mate?
05:22He's been an effort. He's been a big fan of my geography Barry. And your jokes about my height
05:27I didn't know you were that tall. Oh and Rhys on the front foot he backs Tchaikovsky into that blue corner
05:33letting big shots go to the pole been quite crafty in his defense it's a smother the work of Rhys
05:39and game as well. Yeah he's very game. I mean that's lovely effort there from Rhys. I mean the gaps in
05:46opinion because he's throwing but I think he's also I think that's keeping him in the fight
05:50he's not being overwhelmed. Yeah good pressure doing the right thing there Rhys just taking a
05:54little step back allowing space. Quite easy to smother your work when you're letting your shots go Barry.
06:01And now giving him a tip his legs for the right hand straight right down the belly right in the middle
06:05just sit down nice straight right right hand. He's got tall frame Tchaikovsky so the body is there to be
06:11worked. Dren into the pole yeah he's working away he's standing in front of Rhys. I think
06:17the local man's gonna mind that though. Gonna go searching for Tchaikovsky. And also when he
06:23feels our right hand Rhys over the over the jab just take the head over to the left just
06:27use that weight to your head just to transfer a bit more power to the shot.
06:30Heating up into a nice contest this but so in Rhys looking the the strongest still the
06:38aggressive right hand he took that well Tchaikovsky. Almost landed a right hand of his own.
06:46Took that flush as well didn't he. He did and he's basically done what you said Barry he's took that
06:50head off the line he slipped on the outside and through the right hand looking for the shot again
06:53looking a little ragged. Tchaikovsky taking some big shots again doing the right thing holding but
07:01looking very good over Rhys here. Relentless pressure but maybe he's getting a little bit
07:07smothered in his work just a little bit but I think the way he's picking his shots is really
07:13really good for such a high pace. Oh another right hand from RM Rhys another good round
07:21Tchaikovsky's shot out gave me his back wow he's under pressure
08:21um
08:37coming out no nonsense as he has the first two rounds
08:43a lot of the Burley boys are naturally aggressive and you can see it with RM Rhys again trying to
08:49land that left hook. Naturally aggressive but the technique's good I mean you're gonna if you're
08:54gonna be as aggressive as as aggressive as this you're gonna take punches it's inevitable it's
08:59impossible not to but he is trying to dip his legs when he's after those shots he's trying to move
09:03after the punches and also he's kicking his shots. Good work really letting the shots go freeze and
09:08force now going through the gear zone Rhys a bit head high here though needs to target that body
09:14of Tchaikovsky. Tchaikovsky really is trying to hold on do what he can and even Tchaikovsky
09:22shots of his own under pressure. Another thing when he's landed when he's shot from when he's
09:29landed a couple of concussive shots the referee can step in but Tchaikovsky's looking to fire
09:34a look now at the third round two questions can RM Rhys sustain this sort of pressure
09:41for the remainder of the fight and can Tchaikovsky deal with this kind of
09:45pressure for the remainder of the fight? I thought that about Rhys after the first
09:49round I thought the tack he deserved. Relentless. Look again again just smothering his work
09:56he uses his feet great for angles but
10:08see he gets close he creates the space to me to make this shot to tell. Talking to the boys
10:15again at the press conference about sparring and they're all in there with each other
10:20Calum French, Mark Dickinson, Ben Owen,
10:29Barry Landon another left hook inside Owen Rhys. He can't start taking it at all
10:32haven't he he's left hooks. Oh he's just missed for that one there he's losing up
10:37again we see if you're right in these ticks don't take their head over to the left now when he threw
10:41that right angle at the top. I think we've seen enough to know Barry whenever we see Owen Rhys
10:49in the future we're going to see entertaining fights as he goes through the gears again
10:54three unanswered left hooks. Oh it's a big shot again he took that well Tchaikovsky.
10:59That's the first time he looked in trouble there wasn't it Tchaikovsky.
11:03God that was a big shot Barry that left hook again look at that right hand avoiding that
11:08shot the pole but very very good shot selection power picking from Rhys as he goes for that right
11:15hand again every single time you think Tchaikovsky is hurt and down and out he keeps firing back
11:22credit to the pole incredible resilience
11:32another brilliant round for Owen Rhys there
11:46again another frantic run there from Owen Rhys just non-stop action but he's had a little three
11:52left hooks on the spin there and there's a real meaty one in there as well and Tchaikovsky's just
11:56showing a real resilience because some of these shots even if they're not concussive knock you
12:00to the floor shots they break your heart sort of punch down there you know those long right
12:04hands when you're throwing a shot he's making you miss and making you cave with a weighty shot
12:09and the left hooks of the body all these punches are there to set you up to fail.
12:13With some familiar faces Tony Sims and uh the Conor Benn in the changing room supporting Jimmy
12:24Sainz teammates of course they've sparred with each other all smiles and relaxing there's been
12:30a brilliant start to before the bell and so much more to look forward to Jimmy Sainz up next but
12:35back to this contest Owen Rhys again as he has for the first free fight on the front foot and
12:41letting big shots go
12:58I think it's almost pointless because I think his mindset is
13:02I'm just going to work it out for you
13:08it's almost his body language as well isn't it you've set that tone now to then step back and
13:13then give your sort of your opponent a full sense of security almost but it does allow them to get
13:20a foothold into the contest and he's not allowing him to when he gets him on the ropes and he's
13:24throwing the shots he can still be aggressive he just take a little step to the left a little
13:28trigger to the left or the step to the right get a different angle of attack but I think he's so
13:33mindset on I'm just just trying to run right through you that I don't think you'll think
13:37that but he's still I have to say though he still has that thought of mind to pick his shots I think
13:43though he's not just swinging punches all over the place it's still he's working still neat
13:47they're changing the levels with the shots working here the body really close to Tchaikovsky who's
13:54the taller has the longer reach but he's nullifying the work of Tchaikovsky by getting on the chest
14:01sometimes yes smothering the work but looking physically very strong but again I say Tchaikovsky
14:08showing his resilience his will to win his desire still shots go the pace slightly dipped
14:17in this full ground you can understand
14:24Reese's first six-round level really nice left foot the right hand of Tchaikovsky low
14:29the shots have really slowed down of Tchaikovsky lots of gaps in the defense
14:36needs to give himself some space here Reese four shots go all taken on the
14:40the gloves of Tchaikovsky it looks like there's some blood there to the left thigh
14:45although in Reese
14:49Tchaikovsky is always fighting back I don't think there's much weight on the
14:53punches nothing to worry about but it's just getting frustration might seep in
15:00showing a good chin another stiff jab there from Reese
15:05oh nice right hand the referee's having a look
15:09I don't think he wants to see Tchaikovsky taking too many more of these though he's still in there
15:14still in shots go he's the one who's shipping the bigger harder shots yeah to be fair some of
15:20these shots you can see he's feeling them but there was only one shot in the last round that
15:24he looked hurt apart from that he's absorbed everything here
15:31have a grueling round from these two Owen Reese the aggressor on the front foot he looks to me
15:38Tchaikovsky is as if he is fading the referee goes over his corner just to check off him
15:45the corner is on the phone here
15:47me
16:00it's madness that is I've never seen that before is it even allowed
16:17for the job let's see if we can see where that cut was paused for Owen Reese
16:24their heads are very close together they're buried yeah they are constantly and he's always
16:27one coming forward
16:32there was no blood when he went in but there's blood when he came out so
16:35yeah that's heads or inside of the glove there that's caused that for Owen Reese
16:39went to around five we go in an entertaining contest Owen Reese just relentless non-stop
16:44pressure and the resilience from Tchaikovsky has been very evident but looking jaded and
16:51dejected in that red corner in the break the coach was on the phone another right
16:56hand from Owen Reese big shot the chin way too high of the pole but he's standing in front of
17:02Owen Reese trying to land shots of his own that was better yeah he didn't quite come up with what
17:09a little half a step back
17:12to be fair to me so he's got a little cut I think this is the way he fights and that's
17:16something he's got I think he used to and you can't be this aggressive and not come up with
17:20all scrapes yeah hopefully that cut's not too bad like all these young fighters they want to
17:27be busy they want to be active so they don't want to cut to hold you back and stop that momentum
17:33because he looks like he can bang here but again just to know if he really can because
17:38Tchaikovsky has got a fantastic chin I think he's got a decent chin guaranteed but
17:42the other got an ironclad chin or Reese doesn't hit as hard as it seems
17:48either way though that is just a relentless pressure would break the spirit huge fear
17:56on the target there Owen Reese but again Tchaikovsky taking the shots still trying
18:02to fire back but they're sloppy they're slow shots now right open to the counter Tchaikovsky
18:11he's looking to give himself space now isn't he Barry
18:16I think I think that's what he needs there if he can have a sustained attack with
18:19Tchaikovsky doesn't throw back and the referee has to step in yeah he's looking
18:24but you can't stop it he looks tired Tchaikovsky he's not getting hurt is he that's the thing you
18:29know he's fighting back nothing affected he hasn't won a round but he is fighting back
18:39yeah just like the second half of the fourth round pace has dipped a little bit like you say
18:45Barry you can understand why it was an electric start for my own Reese yeah that's what he does
18:52quite well he finds when he's close like this he does find space that was a big one and the
18:57referee seen enough it was a lovely right hand Tchaikovsky protests he wasn't staggering he
19:05didn't drop but it was a lovely shot he could have missed with that right hand Owen Reese
19:10and in the end after relentless pressure he gets the stoppage and the home fans are delighted
19:19yeah he deserved the rewards for the effort he put in there that's one of the stoppage where
19:24I don't dispute it too much but I also would say that he could have continued but he's taking all
19:30those punches and but he is fighting back he's having no success hasn't won a round
19:35you have the fact that in any do either yeah it's it's it's a tricky way that's a title fight
19:40just came in blue murder but it's not and he's not winning any second in every round
19:45so he's continued to fire back but it was big right hand being left out of the land continuously
19:50and he looked tired and even though he didn't like he was going to go down for a second I would say
19:54that but I think you know you're watching it the referee's watching this entirely of the fight
19:59and he's just gone that's one too heavy right hand too many but he's liking so I understand
20:03the reasons why but I can understand why Tchaikovsky also had a little bit of a dispute
20:08the referee about it didn't scream about it but he thought I could have carried on there mate
20:12and he could have but he just took more punishment exactly he was never going to win the fight was
20:17too tough his own good really the cheering was high
20:21ladies and gentlemen referee Dean Wilson calls a halt to this contest
20:25the official time of the stoppage two minutes and 25 seconds of round number five
20:30declaring your winner by TKO he's still undefeated Owen
20:36Rees
20:45so Owen Rees goes to 2-0
20:49as a professional he didn't lie he said he was going to be all action relentless
