00:00 against the winner of Ethan James, James Moorcroft,
00:03 who meet for the vacant WBO welterweight title
00:07 a little bit later on.
00:08 And if he performs as he did when he stopped Eber-Tobar
00:12 into with that brutal left hook,
00:15 then Zamora could be in trouble.
00:17 But despite his record, Zamora has got power
00:22 that he brings with him.
00:23 10 of his 20 wins were by way of KO.
00:26 And the last one against Debus in Germany,
00:29 he ended that on the night to give him his best result,
00:32 arguably of his career.
00:34 But this is all about Cooper here.
00:36 He's brought a good support with him tonight
00:38 and he's determined to come out here, make a statement.
00:41 I can tell you, if this follows the way
00:45 of the earlier fights of the evening,
00:47 this has been a great card so far.
00:50 So can Cooper follow it on alongside me?
00:52 Is Karl Frampton, what are you expecting?
00:55 - Yeah, I'm expecting a good fight.
00:56 I think that Cooper was good in his last performance.
01:00 If you look at the improve on that again,
01:02 but he's in against a good fighter in Zamora here.
01:05 He's a journeyman, but a good journeyman.
01:07 He will be trying to win.
01:08 He'll not be covering up and looking an easy payday.
01:11 So I think we can learn a little bit more
01:14 about Cooper here tonight.
01:16 - Took a good right hand there, did Cooper.
01:21 There's a little drop, tries to hook one into the body.
01:25 You saw the speed of the response there by Zamora.
01:28 And no holding back from either as they exchange
01:33 combinations in the middle of the ring.
01:34 And Zamora really is going for it,
01:36 fueled with confidence after that victory in Germany.
01:41 And he promised here to come out and do so.
01:43 He wasn't coming here just for Cooper's big night.
01:47 - Look, if you're all Cooper's corner,
01:50 I imagine you're a little bit concerned
01:51 with how much he's been hit here in the first round.
01:55 This has turned into a half decent fight already
01:57 and we're halfway through the first round.
01:58 But he's just been hit a little bit too much.
02:00 He may be struggling with the so-called stance of Zamora.
02:03 Just needs to relax and relax his way
02:06 into this fight a little bit more, I think.
02:08 He looks a little bit overeager to me.
02:10 - Again, takes one, takes that left hook into the body.
02:17 There's Cooper, but he's quick to come back.
02:21 And again, it's literally bombs away
02:23 in the middle of the ring here.
02:25 - Oh.
02:26 - That's a great right hand.
02:27 That is by Cooper, but Zamora just brushes it off.
02:31 Again, takes another good left hook to the body, Cooper.
02:36 - Zamora, well, Cooper has to be careful of it.
02:41 Inside the last 30 seconds, he was hit with an uppercut
02:44 with Zamora's left hand there, maybe three times.
02:47 You just need to watch out for that shot.
02:49 It's been tagged a little bit too often for my liking.
02:51 - The adrenaline was obviously surging.
02:58 I mean, I think it comes to a silence
03:01 as we get to the end of this first round.
03:03 He's taken a lot of punches.
03:05 He's thrown a few, and I'll tell you,
03:08 Zamora will be happy with his performance
03:10 in here, inside this first round.
03:12 That was a good left hook from Cooper.
03:14 But he can absorb a punch as well as give him one.
03:17 - Can Zamora now back onto the ropes?
03:20 Cooper gets a chance to go to work with the body,
03:22 and Zamora is desperate to try and fight his way out of it.
03:25 He fights and ends that round with a left hook.
03:30 And difficult to separate the two at the end of that round.
03:33 - Yeah, look, you can make an argument
03:35 for both guys having that round.
03:36 I would just edge it to Cooper,
03:38 but Zamora's in the fight.
03:41 As I said, he's a journeyman with a journeyman's record,
03:43 but he's a good journeyman who will try to win.
03:47 - That was a nice right hand he landed there.
03:50 I think what Cooper isn't doing,
03:51 he's not using his jab enough.
03:53 Sometimes people neglect their jab
03:55 when they're fighting southpaws,
03:56 and I never quite understand why,
03:58 but he hasn't really got it off tonight at all.
04:01 - Well, in Cooper's corner, Errol Johnson
04:09 and Malcolm Melvin, rather.
04:15 He's got about an inch and a half
04:17 in terms of advantage here,
04:19 and that reached Zamora.
04:21 There we go, round two of eight,
04:27 and Cooper again, straight to the center of the ring,
04:29 trying to push Zamora back.
04:31 Left the instruction from his corner
04:41 to use more of the jab,
04:43 obviously being aided because he opens with three.
04:46 Good counter by Cooper with the left,
04:53 and six-step right hook into the body.
04:56 - Yeah, that was a nice shot.
04:56 It was a clever shot.
04:57 He just slipped outside Zamora's left arm
05:00 and landed a nice little uppercut to the body.
05:02 He needs to be clever here.
05:06 As I said, Zamora's not bad at all.
05:08 There's still plenty of time.
05:10 It's an eight-round fight here,
05:11 so he doesn't need to be doing anything too rushed.
05:15 Relax himself into the fight.
05:16 He looks a little bit more relaxed this round.
05:19 - He's looking again, finds his hook with the right hand
05:25 and then hooks into the body,
05:27 follows it with another good right hand,
05:29 and Zamora was just a bit of a sitting target for a moment.
05:34 There goes the left hook once again.
05:36 - Zamora trying to land that. - Takes an uppercut.
05:40 - Yeah, that lead uppercut is a dangerous shot for him,
05:43 and Cooper has been hit a number of times already
05:45 in this fight with it.
05:47 I just don't like to see it when, you know,
05:52 there's another one,
05:53 when you continually get hit with the same shot.
05:55 I know we're around half into this fight.
05:58 You've got to figure out a way
05:59 of how you're not going to get hit with that shot again,
06:02 but I don't think Cooper has quite figured that out yet.
06:05 - I think he needs to show a little more agility
06:09 to try and get himself out of the way of these shots
06:12 as they're coming in, and just when you think,
06:15 Cooper has managed to get the better of Zamora,
06:17 Zamora comes firing back, and again,
06:21 that sad poor lead, the jab carrying significant power,
06:25 but the left hook response again from Cooper as they go in,
06:29 not afraid to go toe to toe in the middle of a ring either,
06:33 and again, Zamora's digging into the body
06:35 with that left hook, and there he lands again.
06:38 - I don't think Cooper's taking too many shots here,
06:40 having a cover up in the middle of the ring.
06:43 - Yeah.
06:43 You can tell Zamora fancies it.
06:55 He's having a little bit of success,
06:57 but Cooper, like I said, just needs to think
07:00 about things a little bit and not just walk into shots.
07:03 He needs to be careful of that kind of,
07:06 that backhand being thrown as the first punt from Zamora,
07:10 and also that uppercut that nearly landed again.
07:13 - Also gotta be aware of the distance,
07:17 if he, the fighter here,
07:18 doesn't wanna run out of gas toward the end,
07:21 and again, Zamora showing Cooper
07:24 that if he wants to stand a trade in the middle of a ring,
07:26 then he will match him head to head,
07:28 and look at the reaction.
07:29 (crowd murmuring)
07:32 (crowd murmuring)
07:36 (crowd murmuring)
07:39 (crowd murmuring)
07:41 (crowd murmuring)
07:44 - And go back.
08:08 Well, mistakes, pressure,
08:11 inevitable secret to getting past them
08:14 is to remain calm.
08:16 - He was earlier. - You're gonna test it out.
08:18 - He was.
08:20 - It's Zamora's corner.
08:21 - One, two, three.
08:23 (bell dinging)
08:24 - Well, they seem happy enough, Zamora's corner.
08:26 And you would be.
08:29 I think this fight is,
08:31 it could probably be one round each.
08:32 It could be two rounds up to Cooper.
08:34 It could be two-nil to Zamora.
08:37 It's the rounds, the two rounds so far
08:39 have been reasonably close.
08:41 (crowd murmuring)
08:44 (crowd murmuring)
08:47 (crowd murmuring)
08:50 (crowd murmuring)
08:52 (crowd murmuring)
08:55 (crowd murmuring)
08:58 (crowd murmuring)
09:02 - In goes the left hook once more.
09:03 There seems to be absolutely no let up
09:06 from either at the moment.
09:07 And whatever is being told to them in the corner,
09:11 it seems they're forgetting about it
09:12 the moment they get into the middle of the ring.
09:14 - I'd just be really concerned with Cooper's defense
09:16 going forward here.
09:17 It's definitely something that they'll need to work on
09:19 in the gym because he's been hit clean way too often.
09:23 And we're not even halfway through an eight round fight here
09:27 and he's already been hit far too much, I think.
09:31 - He's doing some good stuff as well.
09:33 His lead left hook seems to be working quite well.
09:38 - That was a good one.
09:43 Lead left hand, that jab just snaps the head of Cooper back.
09:48 And it really is energy saving.
09:50 Again, he switches to the body,
09:52 follows up with a right hand.
09:54 And Cooper again is taking some pretty decent punches
09:59 here against this man.
10:01 Zamora had a very extensive amateur career as well,
10:05 by the way, before he got into the pros over 150 fights.
10:10 This guy knows his way about.
10:12 But he's plowing on.
10:17 - Yeah, I think Cooper may have just been pulled
10:18 a little bit there.
10:19 His legs definitely stepped up.
10:20 (crowd cheering)
10:23 - A bit of reddening around the face of Cooper.
10:34 - And just there's the jab that he was talking about.
10:36 He landed a double jab there just as Zamora tried to throw
10:39 one of those big loopy lead uppercuts and it landed.
10:43 He needs to just throw more of them.
10:46 (crowd cheering)
10:49 - This is better.
10:51 This is much better with a jab from Cooper.
10:54 - Yeah, three, four jabs from Cooper.
10:58 Finishes with a hook and is taking control
11:02 in the final half minute of this round
11:05 as Zamora goes in and misses wildly.
11:08 (crowd cheering)
11:11 (crowd cheering)
11:14 - Good better defense as well by Cooper.
11:21 (bell ringing)
11:25 Again, right at the end.
11:26 Good finish.
11:27 (crowd cheering)
11:30 (crowd cheering)
11:33 (crowd cheering)
11:35 (crowd cheering)
11:38 (crowd cheering)
11:41 (crowd cheering)
11:44 (crowd cheering)
11:46 (crowd cheering)
11:49 (crowd cheering)
11:52 (crowd cheering)
11:55 (crowd cheering)
12:00 (crowd cheering)
12:05 (crowd cheering)
12:10 (crowd cheering)
12:15 (crowd cheering)
12:18 (crowd cheering)
12:23 (crowd cheering)
12:28 (crowd cheering)
12:33 (crowd cheering)
12:38 (crowd cheering)
12:41 (crowd cheering)
12:44 (crowd cheering)
12:46 (crowd cheering)
12:49 (crowd cheering)
12:54 (crowd cheering)
13:07 (crowd cheering)
13:14 (crowd cheering)
13:17 (crowd cheering)
13:19 (crowd cheering)
13:25 (crowd cheering)
13:37 (crowd cheering)
13:46 (crowd cheering)
13:49 (crowd cheering)
14:00 (crowd cheering)
14:02 (crowd cheering)
14:11 (crowd cheering)
14:14 (crowd cheering)
14:33 (crowd cheering)
14:35 - Yeah Zamora just trying to lead that left hand again
14:47 and it's working, it's just starting to look
14:50 a little bit more untidy as the fight goes on.
14:52 And these are the things that Cooper can exploit.
14:56 That was naked with his feet, what he done there,
15:00 he missed the shot but he tried, it was the right idea.
15:02 Just a little step back, making Zamora fall short
15:05 and then trying to land the jab.
15:06 Good head movement, the well from Cooper.
15:08 - It is no surprise that the relentless pace
15:14 of this fight is beginning to take its toll
15:17 and I think perhaps more so on Zamora
15:20 than it is on Cooper but he still remains very dangerous
15:25 with these wild swings of fists as he gets in
15:29 and any one of them has to land
15:31 but Cooper's just beginning to take over control.
15:34 - I think so.
15:35 We'll listen in to the corner here
15:38 'cause I wanna hear some of the advice that he's got.
15:40 - Listen, he's getting more and more wilder.
15:42 The more you close the gap, the more he's gonna get wilder.
15:44 Yeah, yeah, stay calm, stay calm.
15:45 - Yeah, so.
15:46 - Come around the left a little bit more,
15:47 you got it, okay?
15:48 When you level up, you get that right hand down
15:49 and you're off, okay?
15:49 - Yeah. - Good.
15:50 - They want him to close the gap,
15:52 they want him to close the distance
15:54 and to push on and make this an ugly fight.
15:56 I think he can do that, this is the right time to do that
15:59 but I think, you know, let's get there first with your job.
16:02 So, you know, it's the best shot in the business for me.
16:08 I had a decent job for a small guy.
16:10 Cooper's sort of similar stature to me
16:12 in terms of the division he's in.
16:12 He's a short, stocky guy
16:14 but he can still use that job.
16:16 You don't have to look like this.
16:17 - Well, I see as like everybody else,
16:24 the objective of fighting for European and world titles
16:28 in years to come.
16:29 I said he'd love to get it back to the Worcester Warriors
16:33 stadium, his hometown stadium.
16:36 - Yeah, he just walked in there nice,
16:47 backhanded uppercut there from Zamora.
16:49 - Oh, that was good, good counter, good left hook.
16:53 And he absorbs a good punch, doesn't he, Zamora?
16:57 - Yeah, both guys have solid chins.
16:59 They've both taken a reasonable amount of clean shots
17:03 but Zamora seems happy enough to take them.
17:07 I thought Cooper at times,
17:08 but that would be a little bit concerning for me
17:10 if you're Cooper's corner.
17:11 - Here's his power on the way in round five
17:25 of a scheduled eight here in the opening bout
17:28 on this card here at Telford International Centre.
17:32 You get the impression here that Zamora is just beginning
17:43 to lose some of the power in his punches.
17:45 Just when you do, he produces one to remind you
17:49 that, well, maybe I'm not.
17:50 - Yeah, I think it probably looks like that.
17:52 They're certainly getting a little bit wider.
17:55 Wilder and wider, the shots are coming from
17:58 really arcing angles.
18:00 But he's still in the fight.
18:04 And I think Cooper just needs to be careful
18:05 and be aware of that.
18:07 There's a lovely shot.
18:08 Both guys have certainly passed the chin test tonight.
18:18 There's been a lot of meaty looking stuff landed.
18:22 - Here's Cooper as we come into the final minute
18:27 of round five of eight.
18:29 Looks as he did in the last round
18:32 to just try and take over control.
18:36 He is getting closer.
18:43 He is using the jab more.
18:44 He slips one there.
18:45 That was good upper body movement,
18:48 that from Cooper to pull out of the way.
18:51 - Those were shots that were landing in the opening round,
18:56 but Samora is missing a few more.
18:59 And again.
19:00 - There's a nice left, short left hook there from Cooper
19:03 on the inside.
19:04 But Samora comes back.
19:05 He's a tough nut.
19:06 I'd like to see Cooper, he's landed that left hook
19:14 to the head, especially when they're in close.
19:16 I'd like to see him maybe go to the body afterwards with it.
19:20 - One shot against a couple of low blows there from Samora
19:25 as we come to the end of the round.
19:27 - Big deep breaths, boys.
19:36 Good big deep breaths.
19:37 - Listen, he's a tough guy.
19:44 - Yeah, got it.
19:45 - Don't think anything else.
19:47 Just keep doing what you're doing, okay?
19:48 He might be in there for the duration,
19:49 but he's getting more and more messages.
19:52 You've got to be switched on, don't fucking switch off.
19:55 Keep moving all the time.
19:56 Always got his hat down, okay?
19:57 On the inside, he's going really short shot.
19:59 Don't go wide.
20:00 - Yes.
20:01 - Keep doing the same sort of thing.
20:02 Come on.
20:03 - Well, this is Moses Atalba,
20:06 who is just arriving at the venue.
20:08 In the last couple of minutes,
20:10 he takes on Kevin Espindola.
20:14 Later on, fight time is around 2210.
20:19 If you're looking to plan your evening's viewing.
20:22 Round six of eight.
20:30 And Cooper, couple of rounds in front to you.
20:36 - Yeah, I think I have him up in the fight.
20:38 Samora may have won one, possibly two rounds,
20:43 but Cooper's in control,
20:45 but he just needs to be careful not to walk on the one.
20:48 Samora's certainly a leg bog in the fight.
20:50 - His dad is presumably here watching Cooper,
20:59 who's very well known on the circuit around here.
21:03 Highly active between 2002, 2009.
21:06 - It's a nice shot there from Cooper.
21:13 He just slipped outside Samora's lead hand
21:15 and landed a right hand of his own right there in the barrel.
21:18 - Once again, we are back to this shootout here.
21:29 Samora tries to get back Cooper into the corner.
21:36 (crowd chattering)
21:39 - More distance between the two.
21:49 Samora trying to stay out of range for a bit.
21:52 And again, these punches having to travel a distance
21:56 and Cooper easily seeing it.
21:58 - Yeah, the piss hard to slow down after him.
22:00 Ooh!
22:03 Nearly a big, I thought that was a head clash there.
22:06 - Again, neither complaining to the referee.
22:13 Cooper up, ready, just get on with it.
22:15 - From here, from this distance,
22:21 like Cooper could be dictating this fight with a jab,
22:24 'cause when he does get it going,
22:26 it's not a bad shot for him.
22:28 And as Samora becomes a little bit more untidy,
22:30 it's a little bit easier for Cooper to land it.
22:33 - He's just trying to make it, I think anyway,
22:36 too much of a fight.
22:37 He's trying to fight too hard.
22:38 - If he's trying to impress the TV audience,
22:42 he's doing particularly well here.
22:44 In fact, they both are,
22:46 because this is a cracking start to this car tonight here
22:50 in Telford, as Cooper sends another left hook to the body.
22:54 Follows it up again with another couple of uppercuts here.
22:57 And back into the corner goes Samora.
23:00 - He isn't staying there too long.
23:02 There they are wildly swinging, Samora.
23:05 - Samora's just become a little bit more ragged.
23:17 This, I mean, this is where Cooper
23:19 could really exploit things.
23:20 - Defending those punches would have been better.
23:25 It's only the end of the round,
23:27 but these two have got to be commended
23:31 for putting on a great show
23:33 in this opening series rounds here.
23:36 - It's been a great fight.
23:38 Brilliant fight so far.
23:39 I'm just, again, I'm not,
23:42 if you're in Cooper's corner,
23:43 are you happy with the amount of times he's been hit?
23:47 I'm not quite sure, but he certainly won the fight.
23:50 - But you can see that into round,
23:56 his coaches are pointing out here
23:58 that you're taking too many.
24:00 We need a change of strategy here.
24:03 The moment he gets out in the center of the ring,
24:06 everything is forgotten.
24:07 - Yeah, once he gets there,
24:09 he's done it a couple of times
24:10 where he's imposed his strength.
24:12 When he's had Samora in the corner,
24:13 he's pushed him off of his shoulder
24:15 and he tried to land the shot.
24:16 But once he gets there, he needs to stay there.
24:19 Once he's on the outside,
24:20 then that's when the jackets will start to work.
24:23 - There's Samora, those stoppage losses
24:25 against Piers O'Leary.
24:26 Sean knows he lost only 42 seconds
24:29 against the latter in York Hall back in May.
24:34 But he is a real game contender.
24:40 That's a great hook from Cooper,
24:48 once again, bouncing off the chin of Samora.
24:55 Short right hand again,
24:56 finds its place right on Samora's jaw.
24:59 Samora trying to fight back as best he can,
25:01 but again, apart from that one.
25:04 - Both really landed clean.
25:06 And what Samora likes to do as well,
25:07 he tries to start his attack as Cooper throws.
25:12 He tries to throw a kind of loopy left hand into the body.
25:15 So maybe a feint first from Cooper
25:17 to draw that out of him,
25:18 and then he can counter that shot.
25:24 - There's the shot, you see the shot I'm talking about,
25:26 he's always trying to start that.
25:28 I think Cooper just needs to feint a little bit.
25:31 Feint first, and then set his attacks up after that.
25:34 - Tell you what, both of them,
25:35 if there were any questions,
25:38 answer them in terms of ability to absorb a shot here.
25:42 - Yeah.
25:43 - Oh, that was a beautiful shot,
25:44 that right hand by Cooper,
25:46 but again, it got Samora angry,
25:49 took two good right hands,
25:50 there goes another one.
25:54 Left hook lands as well.
25:56 Samora is doing the best he can
25:59 to actually stay in the fight here again,
26:02 as Cooper just forces the pace still over a minute to go
26:07 in this round.
26:09 - So this is what Cooper needs to say.
26:12 If he wants to be here, he needs to get his hands going,
26:14 get his hands free, impose his strength.
26:17 Samora's just walked him back out to the center of the ring
26:19 and he's lost the advantage that he had
26:21 while he had his back to the ropes there.
26:23 (crowd cheering)
26:25 - Again, a bit more disguise on that coming from Cooper
26:46 to tip Samora in.
26:51 - Trying to keep a bit more distance away from him
26:53 and again, as he travels in, Samora,
26:57 he's looking predictable with what he's doing
26:59 and you can tell he's clearly suffering
27:02 from the pace of the fight.
27:04 - He's starting to struggle a little bit,
27:06 but I don't think Cooper's as fresh
27:08 as he was a few rounds ago either.
27:10 And you'd expect that in a fight as grueling as this.
27:13 But maybe, you know, halfway through that round
27:18 and the last round,
27:19 he's starting to see just a little bit more effort
27:21 from Cooper.
27:22 - And he's still there.
27:25 Right in the end, oh, he landed.
27:28 - I was very near.
27:29 - Left hand to the chin of Cooper,
27:32 but again, after the belt went.
27:34 (speaking in foreign language)
27:38 - Well, he's gonna get a listening to the corner.
27:44 But again, the cleaner, the better shots
27:47 coming from Cooper in that round.
27:51 He is confidently, you would expect,
27:54 extending his lead here.
27:55 - Yeah, look, he's in front in the fight.
27:57 I just heard his corner.
27:58 For the first time anyway that I've heard it,
28:00 they've said you've gotta use your jab more.
28:02 Now, we're getting to the last round of an eight round fight.
28:05 That should have been the instructions
28:06 from the start of the fight.
28:08 And when you get close, then you work hard,
28:10 but the jab hasn't been that good.
28:13 (crowd chattering)
28:16 - A lot of this is, he's fighting very close to home.
28:20 He's on television, he's under the lights.
28:22 It's a big night.
28:23 He wants to make a big impression into the final round.
28:26 And he's doing exactly that.
28:28 If you didn't know anything much
28:29 about Owee Cooper beforehand,
28:31 then you see him on the card.
28:33 You're gonna make sure you tune in and watch him again.
28:37 And again, desperate to finish on a high here,
28:41 putting Zamora under pressure immediately.
28:45 (crowd chattering)
28:47 - Zamora has a little bit of a go
28:49 at the start of every round and then towards the end,
28:51 but there's a big lull in the middle,
28:52 obviously because he's tired.
28:54 So I'd just like to see Cooper,
28:56 that he's there now, he's where he wants to be.
28:58 He's in this kind of trade off
29:01 with the folk working in close quarters.
29:03 I'd like to see him just up it up a little bit more.
29:05 - Competition is the best form of motivation
29:11 and it's bringing out a real firebrand performance
29:16 here from Cooper.
29:18 Clearly looks the pressure of the two in this final round.
29:24 Still taking a shot though, that he doesn't need to.
29:27 - He took one to the body there as well.
29:30 This is a decent shot from Zamora.
29:32 (crowd chattering)
29:35 (crowd cheering)
29:38 - Zamora's the type of journeyman that I love.
29:43 He's one that doesn't just cover up and cart away
29:47 and try and come over for a payday,
29:49 literally not to get stopped.
29:51 He's in there to win this kid.
29:53 (crowd chattering)
29:55 - And he's still throwing any hooks into Cooper's body
30:02 and he's landed the better punches
30:04 in the last 20, 30 seconds.
30:06 (crowd chattering)
30:09 For the first time in the fight,
30:14 really, you begin to see Cooper flag a bit.
30:18 Perseverance, endurance, tenacity, fortitude,
30:24 all those characteristics needed to be a success
30:28 in this sport.
30:29 He'll have learned a lot here tonight, Cooper.
30:31 (crowd chattering)
30:34 - And Zamora, the lovely shot.
30:37 - Yeah.
30:38 - Zamora's leg just stepped in a little bit there,
30:39 but that punch, I'm not quite sure when that happened.
30:41 Was it a punch or a clench of head, but...
30:43 (crowd chattering)
30:47 It should make Cooper a little bit more eager to try
30:49 and just finish strong in this fight.
30:52 (crowd chattering)
30:54 But Zamora's a tough boy.
30:55 (crowd chattering)
30:58 - In the final fight, looks as if it's gonna be a defeat.
31:01 Oh, he takes a superb right hand
31:04 and he's trying to finish it here, Cooper.
31:07 In the final 20 seconds, unloading
31:10 the biggest punches of the round.
31:12 And the go, and in again, toe to toe
31:15 in the center of the ring.
31:17 Zamora needs to get out of the way.
31:18 He's the one that's looking as if he could go down
31:21 in these final few exchanges here.
31:24 He's doing his best to try and hold on to the end.
31:26 He does, and listen to the reaction
31:29 of a very appreciative crowd here.
31:32 Zamora believes he's won, Cooper knows he hasn't.
31:36 - That was great from both boys.
31:37 What a way to start the show.
31:41 I'm not quite sure why, but Cooper's coach
31:44 is just throwing the gum shield at Zamora for some reason.
31:47 A little bit uncalled for,
31:51 a little bit disrespectful as well.
31:53 - There is the clash of heads that brought the cut.
31:58 And they came close a couple of times
32:03 in the earlier rounds as well.
32:06 Great stuff, though.
32:13 He sold about 160, 180 tickets for this gig, Cooper.
32:18 And the fans that have followed him here
32:21 will not be disappointed with the show that he has bought.
32:26 But Zamora, at fight number 43,
32:32 and may well be loss number 22.
32:38 But he gave it, as you said, everything
32:45 at the time of journey, but it is,
32:47 there is a journey, but in that,
32:49 the management might be a bit reluctant
32:51 to put you in against.
32:52 - Absolutely, he's the type of journeyman
32:54 who could probably with a better team
32:58 may have done something good in his career,
32:59 but he's a good fighter.
33:01 - Decision is about to arrive here.
33:08 Here we go.
33:14 - Ladies and gentlemen, after eight rounds of boxing,
33:19 our referee in charge, Chris Dean,
33:22 scores this contest 78 to 74
33:27 for your winner and still undefeated,
33:32 Owen Cooper!
33:33 - It's the support for Cooper that's come up
33:41 the end time here to watch this tonight.
33:45 - And Cooper, it's off to 9 and 0 at best.
33:50 Oh, that's better.
