00:00the attempt of COP26 in Bolivia and the ongoing COP attempt and we show our deep solidarity.
00:10We reject and we censure strongly the anti-constitutional performance,
00:18anti-democratic of the armed forces of Bolivia. At this moment, we are trying
00:26to take by assault the democracy and our constitutional government.
00:31Before this fragrant fact, an attempt of coup, the Central Union of Bolivia,
00:39we urge these groups that today pretend to commit this crime, to stop this action,
00:49which is a terrorist and seditious act against the democracy in the nation. At the same time,
00:56let them hear the voice of the people in a responsible way and as history demands from us,
01:05we demand and we summon all the social organizations and trade unions in the country,
01:11to all the workers of Bolivia, to all the general people, to raise the rise against
01:18this group of coup attempters and violations of democratic rights. At the same time,
01:26we summon all the international community to demonstrate against this violation of
01:34international treaties and pronounce in defense of our government, the government that has been
01:42legally elected as the only organization in the country before this
01:51action in Bolivia. We declare a general strike as of today,
02:03the transfer of all the social organization to the La Paz to defend and to destitute
02:11the revolution. To stop the forces that are trying to attempt a coup,
02:20the revolutionary long live the national democracy, long live our constitutional government,

03:22The workers union demands the respect to the constitution of the nation,
03:28the respect of the people's decision to have, which have elected the constitutional president
03:35in the polls and in the case you don't pay attention to this statement of a social organization,
03:45we are going to take the actions ourselves. These actions that we summon all our organizations,
03:53base, confederations, workers union, regional worker unions to move urgently and now to the
04:04headquarters of the government to recuperate the Plaza Murillo, to recuperate the constitutional
04:11order, to recover our democracy. That's why we're meeting here, we call to all the sectors
04:20affiliated or not affiliated to summon, to add to us, to join us, to avoid a coup attempt in this
04:28country and we call to the reflection of all the armed forces to respect the constitutional
04:36policy of the state, to respect the people.
04:41People have elected the people, the government, the people is in the government and we have to
04:46respect the democratic vote. We call to reflection because the workers and the
04:53organization, social organization are not going to allow this attempt, coup attempt.

05:05That's why we declare from this moment on a general strike without any definite date,
