00:00We should all be extremely concerned about the role of big money, about the role of massive
00:08organizations that can just pour a historic amount, $20 million, the most ever spent in
00:15American history in difficult-to-trace funds in order to have influence in our elections.
00:26At the end of the day, I do know that House leadership, they issued their endorsement,
00:33but this is not about the president.
00:36To me, this is not about leadership.
00:38What it should be is about all of us trying to actually have a conversation about the
00:43role of AIPAC, but also the role of large money and dark money in Democratic primaries,
00:48especially when they are funded by Republicans.
00:51And that's what we saw.
00:52That $20 million was primarily from sources, Republican sources, intended to sow division
01:01in the Democratic Party, and we actually do need to have a conversation about that.
