00:30The Old Teddy Bear by Jenny Hoffman
00:39One day, the mailman brought a package for Andy.
00:43It was a present from his grandmother.
00:48Andy ran to his room and tore off the wrapping paper.
00:52He had been hoping for a toy rocket ship.
00:57But there was no rocket ship inside the box.
01:01Instead, there was a teddy bear.
01:08Ugh, said Andy. Who wants an old teddy bear?
01:12And he kicked it aside and went outdoors to play.
01:19Andy stayed up late that night.
01:22When mother said it was past his bedtime, Andy brushed his teeth and went to sleep.
01:27The teddy bear still lay on the floor beside his bed.
01:34In the middle of the night, Andy began to dream.
01:38He dreamt that he had a magic umbrella that carried him...
01:45...out the window and sailing up into the sky.
01:49Andy looked back. Uh-oh, he cried. Teddy bears!
01:57There were big teddy bears and small teddy bears.
02:01There were teddy bears behind every cloud.
02:04They chased Andy through the night sky, far away from his home.
02:12All of a sudden, the sun was shining.
02:15The bears gave Andy's umbrella a push.
02:22Down, down, down he floated. He landed in a teddy bear town.
02:31The bears were very surprised to see a little boy in town.
02:35Where do you think he came from, they wondered.
02:38The little bears looked friendly enough, but a big dog barked at Andy.
02:46Andy ran away from the dog, but he did not get far.
02:54Grandma Bear picked him up, wrapped him in a box, and took him to the post office.
03:00What an awful dream!
03:06That day, the male bear brought a package for Arthur.
03:10It was a present from his grandma.
03:16Oh boy! I hope it's an electric train set, said Arthur as he tore the wrapping paper off the box.
03:27Arthur was very surprised when he found Andy in the box.
03:32Andy was even more surprised.
03:38Who wants an old umbrella boy anyway, said Arthur as he gave Andy a kick.
03:46Andy began to cry.
03:50I'm not an umbrella boy, he said.
03:53My name is Andy, and I want to go home.
04:00Arthur was sorry.
04:02Don't cry, he said. I'll play with you.
04:06Come on Andy, let's be friends.
04:10Andy and Arthur played together until father said it was past Arthur's bedtime.
04:19And mother said it was time for Andy to go home.
04:22Arthur carried Andy up the stairs.
04:28He brushed his teeth and got ready for bed.
04:31Then he gave Andy a great big bear hug.
04:40As Arthur climbed into bed, Andy waved goodbye.
04:44The magic umbrella carried him out the window.
04:50And up, up, up into the sky.
04:53Soon Andy was floating down in his own house.
05:00Andy floated through the window.
05:03His dream was finally over and it ended happily.
05:09Do you know who wants an old teddy bear now? Andy does.
