00:00Pembroke Dock has a long-standing military history, so it is an honour that we can continue to mark Armed Forces Day.
00:09I would like to thank the parade marshal and the standard bearers who have taken time to come out today,
00:15and the cadets and the various stallholders.
00:19I would also like to thank the Heritage Centre for agreeing to host the event in the grounds of this wonderful building,
00:26and working with our officers at the Town Council to put on this event.
00:31I would like to now invite the Pastor Michael Bay from Bethel Baptist to lead us in a prayer to all our serving uniformed personnel.
00:40So I thank you again for your attendance today, and hope that you enjoy Pembroke Dock's Armed Forces Day 2024.
00:49So that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
00:53For your struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,
00:59against the powers of his dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
01:06Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground,
01:15and after you have done everything to stand.
01:18Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buttled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
01:25and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
01:31In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
01:39Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.
01:46Right about turn!
01:48Turn right!
01:49Eyes left!
