00:00The CCP approached me and then they said,

00:03you know, Carla, can you do something,

00:06we're doing this cover opera,

00:08can you make it grassroots?

00:11And I said, oh, I love that.

00:13So we went to the public schools of Manila,

00:19we went to Tondo, and what I did with the script

00:21is I made it into teleserie,

00:25so that the public school students,

00:29they can relate.

00:30So I changed the names of the characters

00:32into Enrique Gil, Liza Sobreno,

00:36and then I asked them,

00:37who is Kapamila, who is Kapuso?

00:40So they were so interested.

00:42And then after that, it was just a 45 minute show.

00:46And then the Q&A portion was even longer,

00:50one and a half hours,

00:52because they got interested that, you know,

00:56oh, so singing classical can be a career.

01:01Hindi lang pala teacher, or engineer, lawyer, or whatever.

01:06So it opened up that there's such a thing

01:10as singing classical.
